These are the only Jews among my co-workers for the kingdom of God, and they have proved a comfort to me. Greek only ones of the circumcision group

Epaphras,who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.
Why?
There were many Paul's friend they are loved Jesus Christ, they could be good servants of the Lord and may confirm the faith to Jesus and proved a comfort to Paul.
Let the life be mature and fully assured, like Epaphras.
Only one of them is Jews means who is only ones of the circumcision group.
Can I be a good partner to help missionary group to fight for the mission.
How?
Let my life stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord

Colossian 3:18-4:6
Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
Fathers, do not embitter(怨恨) your children, or they will become discouraged.
Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. 
Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, because you know that you also have a Master in heaven.
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

Being watchful and thankful: In prayer I need more watchful and thankful to devote myself.
Working for the Lord, doing everything as doing for the Lord. So I  can say the right word.

Whatever you do do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus

Colossian 3:12-17
God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 
Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
And whatever you do,whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Why?
God forgive us what our sins and we had against others and against the Lord, but God forgive us all sins, so we forgive others as the Lord forgave me.
Be peace ambassador of the Lord, preach peace to the world for Jesus Chris is son of peace.
What I am doing is not for the flesh, but more higher is for the Lord, and God will take care what I need in flesh.
How?
Give thanks to the Lord everyday and every moment.

Set your hearts on things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God

Colossian 3:1-11
Since you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of Godset your hearts on things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Put to death, whatever belongs to your earthly nature. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy污穢 language from your lips.
We have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
Christ is all and is in all.
Becoming a Christian means a definite break with the old self-centred, self-indulgent way of life. There is a new self, moving in a new direction, being renewed in the likeness of Christ, taking on his character.
Why?
We are raised from the dead with Christ, we have a new life in us, so our heart should be on things above where Christ is seated.
Christ is my life so get rid of my all earthly nature. Be sacrificed and live a pure heart and doing right things.
Wear a new clothes, which is given by Christ, being renewed in knowledge in the image of our Creator.
How?
Check myself, Jesus Christ is my focus one in my daily life, all of my vision should on things above.

These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.

Colossians 2:16-23
Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.

Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you.
They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments韌帶 and sinews筋, grows as God causes it to grow.
Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.
By his death the Jewish law has been superseded: the shadow has given way to reality. Then why behave as though you were still living the life of the world?
There may be good sense in rules, but they cannot quality or disquality anyone who has found life in Christ.
Why?
False humility: attract humans respective and earn gain from human beings.
Don't let others judge what I am doing, but do the right things.
There are shadow of the things. But the reality is found in Christ.
Connect to the head, Jesus Christ, so the our body may grow up as god causes it to grow.
How?
Don't let my behave like regulation, even my worship on Sunday or daily Bible reading and prayer, may my heart and body grow up as God causes it to grow. Be humble and living with spiritual understanding.

Be strengthened in the faith as you were taught

Colossian 2:6-15
Freedom from human regulations through life with Christ.
Rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.
In him you were also circumcision in the putting off the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ.
When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ.
False argument was filtering into the Colossian church from various quarters. It was misleading and dangerous because it was based on human teaching and not on Christ.
Christ is the One who embodies all the fullness of God and in him Christians find their own fulfillment.
Why?
False argument is nonsense to Christian, but rooted and built up in Jesus Christ, strengthened in the faith as I was taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
God made me alive with Christ, so do not frustrate or disappointed, God is my Lord, I am living in Christ. He is the head over every power and authority.
How?
Be strengthened in the faith as I were taught, He is the head over every power and authority.

Mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:24-2:5
I will fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.
The word of God in its fullness- the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.
My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God.
This is God's open secret: 'Christ - in you!'
A share in God's own glory for every Christian! This is a 'secret' worth knowing.
It makes all Paul's struggle and efforts 'to preach Christ to everyone' worthwhile.
Paul applies to himself the same pattern, of suffering on behalf of others, that was worked out on the cross. He is not adding to that work: Christ's saving work is complete. But in the overlapping of the ages, between Christ's resurrection and his return, God's new people will suffer as their Master did.
Why?
This is the gospel Chris in me, the hope of glory. Paul spent all strength to preach word of God, his purpose is encouraged in heart and united in love among all Christians. So we may have the full riches of complete understanding.
Knowing God knowing the mystery of God need all of my life to make it. God is so high and God is closes to me.
Paul spent whole of his life to full fill his flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions.
Paul did all he can do with the power of the Lord to preach God's word and mystery.
How?
Learn from Paul, preach gospel to others, preach this mystery to others with full riches of complete understanding,

In everything Jesus might have the supremacy

Colossians 1:15-23
Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things.
Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation. - if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel.
The apostle’s job is to make God’s message known. The philosophers hint at secrets, at keep things known only to the initiated. This is God’s open secret:’Christ - in you’
Why?
Jesus Christ is the beginning of all creatures. He is the first born from the death, through Jesus all of us, alienated from God can reconciled with the Lord through Jesus’s body.
Jesus might have the supremacy.
All through Jesus Chris things hold together. With love and faith all of us may come together.
Continue in my faith, established and firm, not moved from the hop held out in the gospel. Gospel is the good message to all, Jesus is the way, the hope and the only way to repent before the Lord.
How?
Honor the name of the Lord, preach gospel for Jesus Chris is the only way to be saved and joy and peace.

Fill with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding **

Colossians 1:9-14
Fill with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way; bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
It is character of Paul to begin with thanksgiving. He has his Christian priorities - and his psychology! - right. But his warm-hearted praise is genuine, not just sugar to coat the pill of the lecture to follow. His loving care extended beyond the churches he himself had brought into being, to groups of Christians he had never even met. It cheered him immensely(非常) to hear of their faith and love and hope, And he longed for God to give them fuller understanding and spiritual maturity.
Why?
Spiritual wisdom and understanding: It is from the Lord that we have and to pursue get more of it.
Live a life worthy of the Lord: to his salvation and God's love
Bearing fruit in every good work: Do to serve others.
Endurance and patience and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, for all of these are according to his glorious might, we are share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.
Another place is the dominion of darkness.
How?
Pray to the Lord, let me be fill with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

The faith and love that spring from the hope ; Col 1:1-8

Colossians 1:1-8
Paul is an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God.
Paul heard of their faith in Christ Jesus and of the love they have for all the saints - the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God's grace in all its truth.
Colossae was a small town in the beautiful Lycus Valley, about 100 miles east of Ephesus, near Denizli in modern Turkey. Its near neighbors were the more prosperous Laodicea and Hierapolis. There were Christian groups in all three towns.
Although Paul had never visited the group at Colossae, he  had heard all about it from Epaphras. There was much to be thankful for, but some of the news was worrying. So he wrote to them from prison.
Where this was, is still subject to debate: there is no conclusive proof. If Paul was in custody(保管) waiting for his case to be heard in Rome, the date would be about AD 61. If he wrote from Ephesus it would be the early 50s. Paul had a ready-made opportunity to send the letter with Tychicus if he was travelling from Rome he may well have carried the letter to the Ephesians at the same time; the two letter are markedly similar and Onesimus, whom he was sending home.
Why?
Paul knew he is apostle of Jesus Christ serving in God's will.
The faith and love that spring from the hope, hope in Jesus Christ.
Since the day you heard it and understood God's grace in all its truth, Since we know Jesus Christ is my savior, I heart the truth, and it help me have faith and love in Jesus and know it is truth.
This is the basic knowledge to our faith.
The fruits of faith, hope and love.
How?
Can I have the fruits of faith, hope and love from the Christ.

Doing what is good

Titus 3:1-15
Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.
Love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.
So that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order that they may provide for daily necessities and not live unproductive lives.
Once, says Paul, we were all slaves to passion and pleasure. Because that was before we discovered the loving kindness of God, who saved us and renews us by his Holy Spirit, giving us the hope of eternal life. 
When his relief arrives, Titus is to join Paul at Nicopolis on the west coast of Greece. Tychicus is another member of Paul's inner circle of partners in the gospel. Zenas and Apollos may have been the ones who brought Paul's letter to Tutus.
Why?
All of us are slave of the Lord and are people under authorities, so to be obedient to rulers is obedient to the Lord.
Ready to do whatever is good, is our mission and with good altitude, peaceable, considerate, humility toward all men.
God loves us no because of what we done but because of God's mercy and grace, No because of who I am, but because of who He is.
Good things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
How?
Dear father in heaven, please give me strength to be peaceable, considerate, humidity toward all men. Ready to do good things.

Doing what is good, teaching show integrity, seriousness and speech cannot be condemned

Titus 2:1-15
Teach what is in accord with sound doctrine.
Teach older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.
To young men, in everything set them an example by doing what is good, teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned.
Teach slave to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them, show that they can be fully trusted. so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.
Do not let anyone despise you.
The way Christians behave can discredit, or reinforce, the Christian message. Paul's instructions throw no flattering light on the Cretan temperament. They were a naturally belligerent, argumentative people, uncontrolled, resentful of authority and partial to the bottle! But the Christian life calls for discipline, obedience and respect for others. Paul has a word for older men and women and younger ones. Titus himself must set the example. Salves must try to please, not answer back or steal from their masters. Those who have trusted in God and found salvation will be eager to do what is good.
Why?
Teach what is in accord with sound doctrine.
To old men and women and to young men has different manner, to yound men set an example by doing what is good, teaching show integrity, seriousness.
Working manner is to be a trustworthy men before boss, make the teaching about God our savior attractive.
How?
Dear Lord, please help me let me show integrity, seriousness, and trustworthy, speech without condemned.

Self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined

Titus 1:5-16
An elder must be blameless, faithful to his wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient. Since an overseer manages God’s household, he must be blameless—not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. Rather, he must be hospitable,one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.  He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.
To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. 
Is it the thought of the Cretans and their lies that makes Paul dwell on the dependability of a God's who does not lie? The promise of eternal life which he holds out is utterly reliable.
For the qualifications of church leaders see on 1 Timothy 3. The requirement that any leader of the church must hold firm to 'the trustworthy message' leads straight into a description of those who flout this. They are rebellious talkers and deceivers, teaching what they should not teach. The situation is so bad it calls for a really strong line - a sharp rebuke to those who propound 'Jewish myths' and other who reject the truth.
Why?
To be a Christian should be live like requirement as elder.
To be pure and may encourage other by sound doctrine and refute(反駁) those who oppose it.
How?
May my mind and my heart could be pure before the Lord and could be a man to fight against corruption accompany with Jesus Christ.

A servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ ; Titus 1:1-4

Titus 1:1-4
Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness— in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time,  and which now at his appointed season he has brought to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior, To Titus, my true son in our common faith: 
Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.
The unusually long and formal introduction to this letter matches the 'semi-official' nature of its contents. Is it the thought of the Cretans and their lies that makes Paul dwell on the dependability of a God's who does not lie'. The promise of eternal life which he holds out is utterly reliable.
Why?
Paul knew he is a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Chris.
By God's elect and based on knowledge of the truth Paul followed, and in the hope of eternal life, God is truth, there is not lie, God promised before the beginning of time. God has brought to light through the preaching entrusted to Paul by the command of God out Savior, Jesus Christ.
Paul saw the vision of Jesus Christ so he obey this command to ever.
How?
I am servant of the Lord and under the grace and peace from the Lord and his elect and knowledge of the truth, I will continue preach God's word forever.

The Lord is there

Ezekiel 48:1-35


The division of the land
And at the very end the city is named. It is not now Jerusalem, but "The Lord is there"
Why?
No only the land but also the Lord is with us. It is the most important thing is going and living with the Lord. God is with us, so I am not afraid.
How?
May my way be blessed by the Lord and full of God's grace!

In whatever tribe a foreigner resides, there you are to give them their inheritance

Ezekiel 47:13-23
These are the boundaries of the land that you will divide among the twelve tribes of Israel as their inheritance, with two portions for Joseph. You are to divide it equally among them. Because I swore with uplifted hand to give it to your ancestors, this land will become your inheritance.
You are to allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the foreigners residing among you and who have children. You are to consider them as native-born Israelites; along with you they are to be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel. In whatever tribe a foreigner resides, there you are to give them their inheritance,” declares the Sovereign Lord.
The new tribal boundaries with which the book concludes are stylized, rather than geographically feasible.
Why?
Among bribes the land is chosen by lot, and it is equal to each tribe.
Foreigners residing in Israel and have children they may have the same authority as Israelite may have inheritance among them.
God is caring the foreigners, they are alone. 
Now I am not foreigner, I have same right as Israelites before the Lord have the inheritance from the Lord's command.
How?
Praise to the Lord I am a foreigner but I may have inheritance as Israelites.

Living water comes out from Temple

Ezekiel 47:1-12
The Temple faced east.
Water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east. The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar.
As the man measured off a thousand cubits and then let me through water that was ankle-deep... knee-deep... to the waist... it was a river that i could not cross.
This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, where it enters the sea. Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows.
Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.
In chapter 47, we are given something gloriously new. Out of God's Temple flows a great life-giving river bordered by trees whose fruit is for food and whose leaves are for healing,
Why?
From God's Temple there is a life giving river, which both side has trees and fruit is good for good and leaves for healing. It is the river of heaven.
Temple faced east only prince may enter from east gate, other people come and go out from south and north gate. west is back of Temple.
This is a living water may give us life and fresh life. Through Jesus we may have living water in our heart.
How?
Let the water of life flow into my heart and flow out to other people around me.

No one is to return through the gate by which they entered

Ezekiel 46:1-24
The gate of the inner courtfacing east is to be shut on the six working days, but on the Sabbath day and on the day of the New Moon it is to be opened.  The prince is to enter from the outside through the portico of the gateway and stand by the gatepost. but the gate will not be shut until evening. 
No one is to return through the gate by which they entered.
 At the feasts and the appointed festivals, when the prince provides a freewill offering to the Lord—whether a burnt offering or fellowship offerings—the gate facing east is to be opened for him. He shall offer his burnt offering or his fellowship offerings as he does on the Sabbath day. Then he shall go out, and after he has gone out, the gate will be shut.
The prince must not take any of the inheritance of the people, driving them off their property. He is to give his sons their inheritance out of his own property, so that not one of my people will be separated from their property.
Why?
East gate is open for prince come to provide offering. On Sabbath day it is open whole day, but on festivals gate will be shut when prince go out.
Each manner inside Temple have rules and regulations. People get in from north have to go out from south gate, he must leave from opposite side.
The Eastern Gate of Jerusalem is also called the Golden Gate or the Beautiful Gate (Acts 3:2). In Hebrew, it is Sha'ar Harahamim, the “Gate of Mercy.” When Jesus entered Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives in Matthew 21, He used a gate in the same location as the current Eastern or Golden Gate.
It is also symbolic that we are to follow  the whole God's word without any hint of returning.
How?
There is not way to return to follow God's way. God's word is our way of blessing.

The sacred portion of the land for the priests

Ezekiel 45:1-25
Present to the Lord a portion of the land as a sacred district, 25000 cubits long and 20000 cubits wide; the entire area will be holy. Of this, a section 500 cubits square is to be for the sanctuary, with 50 cubits around it for open land.
25000x10000 cubits will be the sacred portion of the land for the priests.
25000x10000 cubits will belong to the Levites, who serve in the temple, as their possession for towns to live in.
1/1~1/7 bull for sin offering
1/14~1/21 Passover
7/15~7/22 make the same provision for sin offerings, burnt offerings, grain offerings and oil.
Again there is the subtle blending and telescoping of near and distant future which is characteristic of the prophets. The laws,  the offerings, the feasts of Exodus and Leviticus are reinstated.
Why?
God rebuilt the rule and holy area around Temple for Levites and priests for their living.
Festival is let people remember what God has done for Israelites.
God is caring the worship procedure and the heart of everyone in church.
How?
Honor the name of the Lord with all of my heart and my mind and my strength. Praise the Lord with fear.

Ezekiel 44:15-37
But the Levitical priests, who are descendants of Zadok and who guarded my sanctuary when the Israelites went astray from me, are to come near to minister before me; they are to stand before me to offer sacrifices of fat and blood, declares the Sovereign Lord.
Priests are to teach my people the difference between the holy and the common and show them how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean.
In any dispute, the priests are to serve as judges and decide it according to my ordinances. They are to keep my laws and my decrees for all my appointed feasts, and they are to keep my Sabbaths holy.
The laws continue, so does death, so does the need for a sin-offering.
Why?
The role of priest is to teach people the difference between the holy and the common. This is my mission as a minister in church.
Judge anything according to God's ordinances. God's word is my rule and my way.
Descendants of Zadok could be servant of the Lord stand before God to offer sacrifices of fat and blood. For they are honor name of the Lord and show their loyalty to the Lord.
How?
Pray to the Lord, may my heart be cleaned, my sins be erased and make me be a good servant before the Lord and stand before the Lord.
