Isiah 60:01-22
Although you have been forsaken and hated, with no one traveling through, I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations. You will drink the milk of nations and be nursed at royal breasts. Then you will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor. The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly.
In the unbridgeable gap between the shame of Israel and her glory stands the figure of God the Avenger and Redeemer. Now judgment gives way to promise realized.
Chapter 60 pictures the incredible transformation of Jerusalem: filled with glory, light, joy, excitement. The return to God's favor is seen in very 'earthly' terms: fabulous wealth, power, influence. Even so, this is a very different earth from the one we know.
Why?
God shows the glory and everlasting love to his people, during suffering Israelite they were uneasy understand this. But God has promised this to his people. It is truth.
Some word was come true in New Testament,
God is our light in stead of the sun and moon, God is the light in our heart. without suffering of hot.
God is my Lord, my Savior, my Redeemer, the Mighty One.
How?
Glory to God! God is my glory, what I am doing is to honor name of the Lord!
