Put on the full armor of God

Ephesians 6:10-24

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

Peace to the brothers and sisters, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.

Why?

The dark world and against the spiritual force of evil are the flesh desire and weakness of our mind and the beauty of this world and rich. Everyone like to live more easily and have property so the force of evil may attack us. The force of the Lord is above all in this world, so we need to pray in the Spirit on all occasions.

Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power and our on the full armor of God. It is the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, and feet fitted with the readiness and takes up the shield of faith, take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit.

屬靈的軍裝都是防護性的，只有聖靈的寶劍是攻擊性的。真理，公理是我們所行的！平安代表和好，關係恢復，救恩頭盔是與神的關係恢復。撒旦也用神的話來引誘人犯罪，讀經是把神的心意讀出來，不是把自己心意讀進去。保羅把任何發生在他身上的都看為神的美意、計劃，給我們的功課、恩典。保羅從來沒有為自己遭遇的請人幫忙，反而自己在監獄裏安慰在外面自由的人。

How?

Be strong with faith and pray in Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and request.

Wives, Husbands, CHildren, Fathers, Slaves, masters roles in our living world

 Ephesians 5:22-6:9

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. 

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.

And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him

Why?

Paul kindly let us know how to be good Christians in this world and play many roles in our family and our working places.

The idea and rule is love, just as we love our Lord, and respect our God to treat everyone around us.

彼此順服： 人喜歡爭誰比較大。夫妻之間，父母兒女之間，主人和僕人之間。

妻子要順服丈夫，同樣丈夫也是要順服妻子，捨己： 丈夫因為愛妻子放下自己的想法、尊榮，，要讓妻子快活。好像耶穌願意放下自己的榮耀放下。妻子因為愛丈夫所以也把尊榮還給丈夫。

孝的最終目標也是讓父母得尊榮。在線主裏就是按著神心意。不要惹兒女的氣： 不要把兒女當出氣筒，自重兒女為獨立個體，兒女也是按主的形象造的。主權與自由意志：兩者同時敬畏神的關係。神有神的主權也尊重人的自由意志。

服事今天的老闆是因為耶穌基督的緣故，主人也要尊重自己的僕人，因為僕人也是神的僕人，主人也是神的僕人。

Ephesians 5:1-21

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.

Therefore do not be partners with them.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light and find out what pleases the Lord.

This is why it is said: Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Why?

To be a follower of Jesus Christ we should distinguish ourselves from this world. This world is evil.

Love each other like Jesus loves us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. This love is devote to the Lord because Jesus loves us.

Be children of light and find out what pleases the Lord, this is our way in this world.

輕浮的話不要說，妄語、戲笑都是同一等級的話語。

愛惜光陰的含義是要把握機會，尋求神的心意。被聖靈充滿、管理是被管控，聖靈充滿的人，互相體諒人，不去爭！

We are out of this world but living in this evil world, so we rely on the help of the Lord to live as children of light to witness we are the sons of the Lord.

Made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness

Ephesians 4:17-32

So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Why?

We have been sealed for the day of redemption, so we have to get rid of all bitterness, rage, and anger and be kind and compassionate to one another.

Put off our old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires, this need pay our whole life to make it and made new in the attitude of our minds.

In our anger do not sin for in our anger we may lose our minds and do more bad things.

脫去舊人穿上新人的概念。

新人不是玩的自己形成，或是做到的，不是自己努力達到的。我們是新重新的創造。這是每個信耶穌的所造人，進而組成新的教會。

穿上是衣服本來就存在，我們要努力穿上，當我們有願意的心，神幫助我們！

新人與舊人的對照：弟兄姊妹的關係，相當於自己的肢體

生氣的管理： 本末為義在生氣，後來變成得理不饒人的驕傲。

舊人：偷懶、說傷害人的話，苦毒惱恨，為了滿足自己的私慾

新人： 為了別人，造就別人

Thanks to the Lord let Paul write so many things to remind us and encourage us to be real Christians.

Unity in the body of Christ

Ephesians 4:1-16

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called;  one Lord, one faith, one baptism;  one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.  Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Why?

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. This is the attitude of a Christian.

The Holy Spirit gives us everyone different talents and positions, the purpose is to build the body of Christ, the church. Christ is the head of the Church.

We need to grow up in Spirit, we can always be like the baby, can't live out to care for others, and take responsibility. 

The primary call is to unity。 There are seven elements of unity: one body, one Spirit, one hope, one God Jesus Christ and one Father the Lord, one faith, and one baptism.

七個合一的要素（4:4-6）身體只有一個，聖靈只有一個，正如你們蒙召，同有一個指望。一主，一信，一洗，一神

How?

No one is perfect but in the love of Jesus, we all may implement to one body of Christ! Give honor to the Lord.

Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles, the mystery of Christ

Ephesians 3:1-21

For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles—Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you, that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.

In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Why?

Paul obeys the command of the Lord so he became the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of the gentiles.

We should strengthen with power through His Spirit in our inner being, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith.

The base of our strength is established in love, so may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people.

This mystery of Christ was not revealed until the Holy Spirit came.

The power of Jesus is unmeasurable higher than we and prayed, according to his power that is at wok within us. This power is working through us, to show that Jesus is with us. How great is the Lord!

How?

Every one of the Christan is the solder of the Lord to witness the great love and power with us. May the grace with me to love others around me.

For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier

 Ephesians 2:1-22

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Why?
All of us are the work of the Lord, we could be saved and become a Christian is the gift of God come upon us, not by works, so no one can boast.

We should know that Jesus Christ is the foundation of the church and our life. In Him being joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. This church is not a building but a group of Christians, the followers of Jesus.

人在罪惡當中，不可能接受神。人的行為完全順服空中掌權者。人只為自己喜歡而行。神的救恩使人活過來，讓人有能力悔改歸向神。這是聖靈的工作。

接著人自己決定跟隨神，得救後，不斷顯明神的恩典，且傳承下去。

救恩的特質是本乎恩。信本身也是神在我們心裡動工，所以不是我們的功勞。行善是張顯神的榮耀。

教會不合一，在於彼此看不起。我們都是家人，教會是神的家，基督的身體。

How?

Be humble and give praise to the Lord, without the Lord we are nothing. Jesus Chirs is peace maker, makes us peace with the Lord and get rid of the sins.

Giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers

Ephesians 1:15-23

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

Why?

Paul prayed for brothers and sisters of Ephesians may the Lord give them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that they may know him better. What we need is the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. And this is a gift from the Lord, we cannot get it in this world.

Three gifts have been given to us:

1) We may know the hope to which he has called me.

2) the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people

3)His incomparably great power for us who believe.

神的計劃，教會應有的認知！保羅的禱告都有感恩！我們不要把感恩成為口頭禪！我們的禱告多是還沒有做的事情！

要從聖靈得著光照，知道就是認識，包括經歷，讓教會更深入、體會神的作為！我們將來的指望很難知道，體會，所以求聖靈給我們智慧，分辨什麼是有價值，什麼沒有價值的。明白神的計劃！把我們時間放在永恆的事情。

聖徒的基業，我們的榮耀是何等豐盛，我們外表一樣，似乎沒有太多改變！但是在神的眼中何等寶貴！

復活的能力，超越一切的權柄！教會與基督的關係合起來！

To be Chrisitan we should feel more honored and praise the Lord for our many gifts from the Lord.

When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit

 Ephesians 1:1-14

To God’s holy people in Ephesus,[a] the faithful in Christ Jesus. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.

When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

Why?

We were chosen by the Lord so we have many blessings, wisdom, and understanding.

We were chosen not because of how good I am but because of the love that comes upon me, according to the plan of him who worked out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.

The Spirit is a seal when we believed in Jesus. Who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession - to the praise of his glory.

The Holy Spirit is a seal that we have the inheritance until redemption.

神賜我們天上各樣的福氣，所有的福氣

1)神的揀選  按自己的旨意，所喜悅的，過程中神犧牲愛子道成肉身，耶穌要承擔罪，如一個有潔僻的人甘願擔負汙穢罪。我們送禮物給人，是先想到這個人，所以神早已先選擇了我們，思念我們，才送我們這禮物。

神用諸般智慧： 表示神殷切期盼，精心設計的

充充足足的，豐富的。神不僅讓我們從負債，不僅歸零而且還豐盛有餘，神的愛對我們是敞開的，我們反而常常隔著一層在弟兄姊妹當中相處！

在耶穌基督裏同歸於一： 我們在耶穌基督裏找到我們的身份、位置、價值。如同拼圖的每一塊！合起來成為一個整體！

2)愛子在基督裏 得兒子的名份

3)成為神的基業

4)得基業的保證：神深怕我們擔心，要我們放心，心裏平安，住在我們心裏。目的在使神的榮耀得著稱讚！

How?

Our salvation won't be in vain for the Holy Spirit is our seal in life.

Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation

Mark 16:9-20

When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons. She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping. When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it.

Afterward Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking in the country. These returned and reported it to the rest; but they did not believe them either.

Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.

Why?

The disciples did not believe Mary and two disciples said about Jesus is raised. Until Jesus is shown before them, they believe Him. 

Jesus was taken up into heaven and he said to the 11 disciples to preach the gospel to all creation. This is the mission of all of the followers of Jesus, Christians.

Men are weak and lack faith, 11 disciples even followed Jesus for three years, but they did not know Jesus will raise from the dead, and that his salvation is through his body and blood.

耶穌在七日的第一日： 代表創造的開始時。七天代表創造的過程，這是耶穌所代表新創造的開始。代表新時代的開始。教會就是神新的創造。

兩個服事的群體：抹大拉的馬利亞……及亞利馬太的約瑟及。門徒不信，因為在哀傷中，在絕望中，很難相信，兩個門徒遇見耶穌，他們也不信！死人復活曾經發生過他們仍然不信，要眼見為憑。他們不是故意不信，但是還是很難！  人畢竟軟弱，耶穌向他們顯現

耶穌向他們顯現，為了要他們傳道，證實他們所傳的道！福音初傳到一個地方，接受的人少，所以比較容易藉著神蹟來顯明神的能力。當福音傳開後，神蹟漸漸減少。人心的改變就是神蹟。雖然我們沒有像抹大拉的馬利亞看見耶穌，但是我們仍然因著與主同工，可以經歷神的同在。

Mark 15:42-16:8

It was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath). So as evening approached,  Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Council, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus’ body. Pilate was surprised to hear that he was already dead. Summoning the centurion, he asked him if Jesus had already died. When he learned from the centurion that it was so, he gave the body to Joseph. So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb. Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joseph saw where he was laid. 

When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”

As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. 

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’”

Why?
Joseph bury the body and wrapped it in linen and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. He is brave to ask the body of Jesus to Pilate. For he believes the kingdom of God will come.

Mary Magdalene and Mary always follow Jesus, even though Jesus is dead they still want to do something for Jesus.

Because they love Jesus so they are the first to know Jesus has risen. Many are not believed, so the chosen are little! It is the grace of the Lord that came upon me so I may become a son of the Lord.

記載少數有信心的猶太人。約瑟、抹大拉的馬利亞和約西的母親馬利亞並撒羅米等耶穌付出，對比馬可逃走和彼得不顧一切否認耶穌。約瑟卻不再暗暗做耶穌門徒，在這最沒有神蹟的時候，勇於出面，可能要面對被逐出猶太群體的風險、可能被抓的代價。他們單純愛主的心並沒有要想得到什麼！

買了香膏要去膏耶穌的身體也要花錢付代價，而且一大早趕快要去看耶穌，非常期待要為主做些事情。我們主日是否有這樣的心去教會見神?可能有羅馬兵丁的攔阻，早起的攔阻，最大的攔阻是大石頭擋在洞口，神卻排除所有的攔阻。也讓人看見耶穌已經復活！只要我們真心願意，我們同樣可以經歷復活的耶穌同在。第一批聽到耶穌誕生的是一群牧人，天使告訴他們，第一批聽到耶穌復活的消息是這群要來見主，服事主的婦人，也是天使告訴他們，雖然她們還沒有見到復活的耶穌。我們來教會是因為耶穌愛我們，而不是因為我要耶穌幫我解決問題！

How?

I believe that Jesus is the son of the Lord, and he has devoted his life to all who trust in Him. 

Surely this man was the Son of God! said by the centurion

Mark 15:29-41

They crucified two rebels with him, one on his right and one on his left. Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, “So! You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days,  come down from the cross and save yourself!”  In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law mocked him among themselves. “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself!  Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him.

At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”)

With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last.

The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, saw how he died, he said, “Surely this man was the Son of God!”

Some women were watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joseph, and Salome. In Galilee these women had followed him and cared for his needs. Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were also there.

Why?
Jesus did not save himself from the cross, because he came to this world to crucify himself to save us from our sins. For he is Messiah so to the unbeliever they don't understand.

All of these events tell us that Jesus is the Lord. Jesus is the son of God, even the centurion who stood there in front of Jesus said, 'Surely this man was the Son of God!

The Roman soldier and women and very few disciples believe Jesus is the Lord, so the chosen are little most population do not know Jesus. Blessed are those who believe and obey God's command.

Because Jesus was sacrificed on the cross, he bear all of our sins of us, so the Lord temporally leave Him, this is the dark time for Jesus. 

How?

Can we understand the emotion of Jesus and the love of our God? Let my life as a light in this world.

The written notice of the charge against him read: the king of the jews

Mark 15:21-28

A certain man from Cyrene, Simon, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and they forced him to carry the cross. They brought Jesus to the place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”). Then they offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he did not take it. And they crucified him. Dividing up his clothes, they cast lots to see what each would get.

It was nine in the morning when they crucified him. The written notice of the charge against him read: the king of the jews.

They crucified two rebels with him, one on his right and one on his left. 

Why?

Jesus refuses to take the myrrh, for Jesus is devoting himself to the cross. It is his love to all following Him.

It is written The King of the Jews, originally they laughed at Jesus being called by this name, but it shows the real identity of Jesus, He is the king of the Jews and Jesus is the King of human beings.

How?
Jesus implemented his mission of the Lord and devoted himself to our salvation. Remember Jesus and may the Holy Spirit leads my way and my mind follow Jesus as light and salt in this world.

Jesus beforem Pilate

Mark 15:1-20

Very early in the morning, the chief priests, with the elders, the teachers of the law and the whole Sanhedrin, made their plans. So they bound Jesus, led him away and handed him over to Pilate.

“Are you the king of the Jews?” asked Pilate. “You have said so,” Jesus replied.

But Jesus still made no reply, and Pilate was amazed.

The crowd came up and asked Pilate to do for them what he usually did. “Do you want me to release to you the king of the Jews?” asked Pilate, knowing it was out of self-interest that the chief priests had handed Jesus over to him. But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have Pilate release Barabbas instead.  “What shall I do, then, with the one you call the king of the Jews?” Pilate asked them. “Crucify him!” they shouted. “Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!”  Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him out to crucify him.

Why?

The priests can't judge people so they handed Jesus over to Pilate, and asked Pilate to crucify Jesus. Even Pilate could not find evidence to judge Jesus, but he wanted to satisfy the crowd so Pilate ignore justice but listen to the crowd's voice, the crowd is missing their right way and was disturbed by the chief priest.

Jesus replied he is the king of the Jews, other questions he did not answer. He didn't explain any other issues.

祭司定耶穌的罪是自稱耶穌的兒子，在羅馬這個不是罪，若自稱是猶太人的王，就有違反羅馬律法，猶太人的王要羅馬政府指定。耶穌不回答，彼拉多明知耶穌沒有罪，也知道祭司忌妒耶穌，卻不執行公義，沒有律法的制度可言！耶穌回答突顯了彼拉多握公義的權柄，卻行不出來，民眾也是幫兇。耶穌的死是民主制度造成的。因此屬靈的事不能用投票表決。教會的管理同樣不宜以投票表決！任何制度在罪人向上執行都會有偏差。

這群兵丁什麼都不知道，卻以開玩笑的方法來反諷耶穌這王，諷刺耶穌無用的冠冕。沒有信主的人也會以耶穌、教會來開玩笑。

How?

Jesus like a lamb he is calm down and accept the criticism and be crucified. Because he loves us, 

“Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” “I am,” said Jesus

Mark 14:53-72

The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death, but they did not find any. Many testified falsely against him, but their statements did not agree.

But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer.

Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

They all condemned him as worthy of death. Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said, “Prophesy!” And the guards took him and beat him.

He began to call down curses, and he swore to them, “I don’t know this man you’re talking about.”  Immediately the rooster crowed the second time. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows twice you will disown me three times.” And he broke down and wept.

Why?

Jesus remained silent and gave no answer to all their false testify. But Jesus said I am Messiah. This is his real identity, but the high priest and others denied Him.

Peter followed Jesus in some distance, but when people asked him "Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean." Peter refused it three times just as Jesus had predicted. So Peter found he is weak and refused Jesus three times. Even He has insisted he won't.

Jesus knew even Peter refused Him, so the pain of Jesus is deeper. But all of these Jesus accepted it. His disciple all ran away. How about us? Do I will reject Jesus, No, But I have to confess I am weak even I won't but in reality, it is possible for all of us.

耶穌是審判者，今天卻被審判，耶穌是義人，卻反而要被定罪。先抓人再來找罪證，多人要做偽證，又互相矛盾，人愈審判耶穌，愈顯出自己的不義與錯誤，暴露自己的不義，只有承認自己的不義才能被耶穌遮蓋。

耶穌在猶太人公會定罪耶穌，只因耶穌說他是神的兒子，但是這句話是事實，當然沒有罪。

耶穌不為自己爭辯，反而彼得一直在為自己辯護，真理，否定真理的人愈顯出自己的不是。彼此一直辯，但是極力否認，讓人知道他的口音，愈爭辯愈顯出自己的錯。使女與旁邊的人不是真有意要檢舉彼得。彼得自己也忘記自己的承諾與顯出自己的軟弱。信心不是因為我們做了什麼，而是依靠主！不要小看逼迫，也不要以為自己信心足夠！

May the Lord gives me more strength and faith to follow the way of Jesus, and be a light and salt in my living life.
