Jonah- His way is higher than our's

Jonah 1:1-9
This book is about justice and mercy.
The work of the Load came to Jonah,"Go the the great city of Niveveh and preach against it, because the wickedness has come up before me."
But Jonah ran away from the Load and headed for Tarshish, he paying the fare, went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Load.
Then the Load sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up.
The sailors cast lots found out Jonah is responsibility for this calamity. They asked Jonah who are you? where do you come from? what do you do?
Jonah answered," I am a Hebrew and I worship the Load, the God of heaven, who made sea and land."
Why?
Flee away from the Load, not way.
Jonah knew the Load who he is, He made sea and land, the God of heaven.
Nivevah is the enemy of Israel, he did not like to preach gospel to this country. For the patriotism make him flee away from the Load.
God's care an concern- his purpose to save- extends to the whole world even the Assyrian enemy that in 722/1 destroyed Israel.
How?
The words of the Load is most high than our own minds and ideas.
Our country is not belong to this world, our country is in the heaven. What I have to do is praise the Load, have good witness before men, let more people know Jesus loves them. Jesus is the only salvation.
