Who is it you are looking for?

John 20:1-23
Early o the first day of the week- Sunday
Mary Magdalene saw the stone had been removed from the entrance.
John first reached the tomb first, he bent over and looked in. Peter who was behind him, arrived and went into the tomb.
John went inside the tomb. He saw and believed.
The disciples went back to their homes, but Mary stood outside the tomb crying.  As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angles. They asked her,"Woman, why are you crying?"
Jesus said to her," Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?"Mary."
Jesus said to Mary, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"
Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news, "I have seen the Lord!"
Why?
Saw, have seen, but disciples still did not understand from the Scripture that Jesus to rise from dead. So as we saw some miraculous sign, we might not understand what it's meaning. If it has been done by the Lord, it will be corresponded to the Scripture. Reading Scripture and being led by Holy Spirit are important.
Who is it you are looking for? Who are we looking for in our life? Jesus is the right answer.
Th gospel gives  personal account of what happened-what John heard and saw from himself and what he learned from Mary Magdalene.
Mary Magdalene was singularly well prepared to witness to the facts about Jesus' ministry, his death and his resurrection. Then she disappeared from the record, not being mentioned in Acts or in any of the Letters. does it mean that she had no role in spreading the gospel? Or she she go on quietly telling others what she had seen an heard? Did they believed in her? Was she among those scattered in the persecution of the church in Jerusalem? Where did she go? What would you like to say to modern Christian women?
How?
Could I be the Mary Magdalene to support the gospel and be a witness to Jesus?
Who is it you are looking for in your life?
