2 Corinthians 12:11-21
I have made a fool of myself, but you drove me to it. I ought to have been commended by you, for I am not in the least inferior to the "Super-apostle", even though I am nothing.
How were you inferior to the other churches, except that I was never burden to you? Forgive me this wrong!
Paul planed visit Corinth third times, he still not be a burden to them. Because what he want is not their possession but their heart.
Paul treated them like his own children.
Paul wondered "If I love you more, will you love me less?"
Someone said Paul is a crafty fellow, he caught them by trickery! Paul explain it and query did they exploit Corinth any?
What Paul has been speaking in the sight of God as those in Christ, and everything whey do, is for Corinth's strengthening.
Paul was afraid that when he comes again they did not repent for their sin and he hope God make him before them.
Why?
In the face of typical 'Corinthians' sins: sexual promiscuity, bitter quarrels and disorder. So he calls them to put things right before he comes, so that when he does he may not have call them to order with harsh discipline.
Paul taught Corinthians with love like his children, do not give burden to them but help them, hope them could be repented and turned to the Lord.
How?
To be a good shepherd is treating and teaching his sheep with love and sincere.
So as to be a father should treat his daughter with love and caring.
