To be a comforter to weakness

2 Corinthians 7:1-7
Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. The promise of God will be our father described in 6:17-18
Paul has great confident in Corinth and takes great pride in them. He is greatly encouraged; in all their troubles his joy knows no bounds.
When Paul suffered distress in Macedonia - conflicts on the outside, fears within. But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted by the coming of Titus, and also by the comfort of Corinth has given him.
Why?
The promise includes a condition - come out from them and be separate, touch no unclean thing. Don't do evil thing or touch unclean thing. Even touch it is forbidden. Little evil mind like yeast will be enlarged for our weakness.
The comfort of God comes from people as Titus and Corinth Church send the ardent concern and deep sorrow, comfort in spiritual. Titus's coming let Paul rest in his heart.
Holy Spirit is the comforter of us comes from God.
How?
When anyone under distress or trouble, I should show my ardent concern and love to comfort them. People needs comfort to encourage their strength and joy. We should love each other and comfort each other in Jesus Christ, we are the brothers and sisters.
