Teach us number the days

Daniel 5:13-31
Daniel explain first why those words were written in the wall.
For even his father Nebuchadnezzar sovereignty and greatness and glory and splendor. He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal..., until he acknowledged that the Mot High God is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and sets over them anyone he wishes. Belshazar, have not humbled himself, though he knew all this.
You did not honor the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways.
Daniel explained that 1)God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end. 2)You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting. Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.
Daniel didn't want God gave him the honor and be made the third highest ruler in the kingdom, but the king gave him these after he explained these words.
The king's day were indeed numbered. That very night Cyrus the Persian took the impregnable city of Babylon, so the ancient historians tell us, by diverting the course of the River Euphrates and entering along the dry river-bed, while the Babylonians were at a feast of their gods.
Why?
Daniel is an old men at that time. These three words are weights or units of money.
No other historical record so far found mentions anyone of this name, Darius the Mede. Darius has been variously identified, but none of the suggestions is completely satisfactory. Perhaps this is another nae for Cyrus, who had mixed ancestry. In these case verse 31 would be translated 'Cyrus the Persian'
Even knew the God, has not humbled himself, the punishment might come from the God. He is just and sovereign Lord.
Our life and days are numbered in hands of God.
How much weight of my life in present of the Lord?
How?
Dear Lord please Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom(Psalm 90:12)
Honor my Lord his name with all my mind, all my heart and all my strength.
