Our goal is to please him

2 Corinthians 5:1-10
We are longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling and an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.
We do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
It is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
We live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, and would prefer to be away from the body and at him with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.
The purpose of God made us for we could be clothed with heavenly dwelling, those mortal body and materials will be swallowed up by life.
Why?
Weight the cost of discipleship, incredible though it seems, against the 'eternal weight of glory' being made ready for Christ's faithful followers and you have the true balance of things.
Tent: our physical body Paul uses an ordinary Greek expression, which at the same time reminds us of the body's impermanence.
Live by faith, not by sight: this is the life of faith.
How?
All of the earth belongs are mortal may be destroyed. My house in Taiwan, my phones , computer, and my physical body will pass away. What I have to pursue in my life is to please the Lord.
Recently I faced many difficulties, I should have faith that the Lord will supports me.
