Psalm 99:1-9
The Lord reigns, let the nations tremble; he sits enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake. Great is the Lord in Zion; he is exalted over all the nations. Let them praise your great and awesome name— he is holy. The King is mighty, he loves justice— you have established equity; Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his footstool;
he is holy. Moses and Aaron were among his priests,
Samuel was among those who called on his name; they called on the Lord and he answered them.
He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud; they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.
Lord our God, you answered them; you were to Israel a forgiving God, though you punished their misdeeds.
Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his holy mountain,
for the Lord our God is holy.
Why?
God is holy almighty and have mercy.
Forgiving and punishment both exist. God discipline us with love and troubles.
Lord is holy so we shoud fear the Lord and trust in Him.
How?
Confess my sins,my proud eyes, dirty mouth, selfishness, criticism etc.

The best inheritance to my hair is the faith to the Lord
1 Kings 11:34-43
I will give one tribe to his son so that David my servant may always have a lamp before me in Jerusalem, the city where I chose to put my Name.
God said to Jeroboam, if you do whatever I command you and walk in my ways and do what is right in my eyes by keeping my statutes and commands, as David my servant did, I will be with you.
I will humble David's descendants because of this, but not forever.
Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.
Why?
God remember the heart of David to him, so God leave one tribe in Jerusalem where is a memorial to God's Name.
For the heart of David, God kept inheritance to his house. What I can leave to my hair? The heart to the Lord?
How?
Dear Lord please give me strength and witness to walk in your way and do what is right in your eyes by keeping your statues and commands. Let this be the best inheritance to my hair.

God raise enemy to against those who abandoned God
1 Kings 11:26-33
Jeroboam son of Nebat rebelled against the king. The account of how he rebelled against the king: Solomon saw him was a man of standing, and Solomon put him in charge f the whole labor force of the house of Joseph. About that time Jeroboam was going out of Jerusalem, and Ahijah the prophet of Shiloh met him on the way, wearing a new cloak. The two of them were alone out in the country, and Ahijah took hold of the new cloak he was wearing and tore it into twelve pieces. Then he said to Jeroboam, "Take ten pieces for yourself, for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says:'See, I am going to rear the kingdom out of Solomon's hand and give you ten tribes. But for the sake of my servant David and the city of Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, he will have one tribe.
Within his own nation there is Jeroboam, the man destined by God to rule over the ten breakaway tribes after the king's death.
Why?
Because king Solomon abandoned God and went off worshiping other gods and has not followed directions as his father David did and ignored the warning of the Lord twice. So God chose Jeroboam rule over the ten breakaway tribes after the king's death.
Jeroboam is rebelled against the king, even he was chosen by the king. Jeroboam in charge of the labor force so he understood the suffering of people in Israel.
A man away from the Lord could not trust in anyone in the world. Turn to the Lord and focus on the Lord is the way to be saved and prosperity.
How?
God is my savior and my fortress, worship the Lord and observe his decree and command.

God is the master of the history
1 Kings 11:23-25
God raised up against Solomon another adversary, Rezon son of Elidad.
Rezon was Israel's adversary as long as Solomon lived, adding to the trouble caused by Hadad.
Rezon ruled in Aram and was hostile toward Israel.
In the north from Rezon of Damascus.
Why?
God let Rezon as enemy in north of Israel and Hadad in south when Solomon lived. Let Solomon remember that God is the sovereign Lord,
Even trouble is exist and enemy is against us, but when we trust in the Lord and obey his word, God will protect us from all these trouble and enemy.
How?
God is the sovereign Lord, all are under his control. God is the master of history.

Trouble and burden made me more humble and trust in the Lord
1 Kings 11:14-22
Then the Lord raised up against Solomon an adversary, Hadad the Edomite, from the royal line of Edom.
Hadad still only a boy, fled to Egypt with some Edomite officials who had served his father. They set out from Midian and went to Paran. Then taking men from Para with them, the went to Egypt, to Pharaoh , who gave Hada a house and land and provided him with food.
Solomon's reign is not wholly problem-free. In the south there is trouble from Hadad of Edom.
Why?
Hadad liked go back to his home land and left Egypt, even he lacked nothing there, because he wants to revenge his family dead for Israelite.
The Lord kept trouble in our life let us do not forget the grace of the Lord and trust in the God.
Trouble and burden remind us do not proud and forget the Lord.
Walk on the way of the Lord, the trouble is still existing but won't hurt us! It is the Lord protects us.
How?
Praise the Lord let me have trouble and let me more humble and fear the Lord.

Be aware of the Spiritual down fall
1 Kings 11:4-13
When Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father had been.
The Lord became angry with Solomon because his heart had turned away from the Lord the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice. Although he had forbidden Solomon to follow other gods, Solomon did not keep the Lord's command.
For the sake of David, God did not tear the kingdom away from Solomon, and give him one tribe of Israel to his son.
Solomon in his old age turns from God to worship idols - a sin which will cost his son the greater part of his kingdom and divide the nation.
Why?
When getting old age and weak in foreign wives' attraction, Solomon turned away from the Lord. His heart is down fall.
Solomon was not fully devoted to the Lord his God, he devoted to the Lord and other gods.
Even the Lord appeared to Solomon twice, but Solomon did not sensed that he had sin against the Lord, he did not care the consequence of what he did for his kingdom was great and everything looks good!
Sin is coming from every little thing and gradually let our heart harden. Be aware our heart especially when we are getting old and prosperity.
How?
Pray to the Lord give me the aware heart to keep me walk on the way of the Lord! Don't rely on my self.

你們當負我的軛,學我的樣式;

His foreign wives led him astray
1 Kings 10:23-11:3
Solomon spent much money purchased chariots and horses from Egypt. Solomon accumulate fourteen hundred chariots and twelve thousand horses, which he kept in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem.
King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh's daughter - Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites. They were from nations about which the Lord had told the Israelite, "You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn our hearts after their gods."
His wives led him astray.
Foreign wives bring with them foreign gods( as Exodus 34:16 had warned)
Why?
Solomon had higher wisdom and much money and respected honor, so his heart became proud and ignore the word of the Lord, turned to downfall of his life.
When the heart is turn away from the Lord, then it is the way to the downfall.
The sin is always attract us if we don't aware it, prosperity is good and blessing from the Lord, but it is may led us turn to our selfish and blind our heart.
How?
Do not rely on our strength or mind to resist be a good man, but keep us with pure heart and mind to follow God's word.

Kingdom of Gold
1 Kings 10:11-22
Solomon's Splendor: All king Solomon's goblets were god , and all the household articles in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. Nothing was made of silver, because silver was considered of little value in Solomon's days. The king had a fleet of trading ships at sea along with the ships of Hiram. Once every three years it returned, carrying gold, silver and ivory, and apes and baboons.
Solomon got much gold from tax and trade and gifts from foreign kings.
Solomon's revenue through trade and taxes is enormous. But consumer spending more than keeps pace.
Why?
There were so detail described the usage of gold in king Solomon, means his splendor, rich and proud. Solomon shows his splendor and made useless 500 gold shields.
Solomon had the great wisdom, but he used his wisdom on his wealth.
How?
How to control the desire of human being? Holy life is not made by gold, but the Holy Spirit!

Praised be to the Lord Almighty
1 Kings 10:1-10
The queen of Sheba saw all the wisdom of Solomon and the palace he had built, the food, the seating of his official, the attending servants in their robes and the burnt offerings he made at the temple of the Lord, she was overwhelmed.
Praise be to the Lord your God, who has delighted in you and placed on the throne of Israel. Because of the Lord's eternal love for Israel, he has made you king, to maintain justice and righteousness.
She gave the king 120 talents of gold, large quantities of spices, and precious stones. Never again were so many spices brought in as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.
Intriguing(有趣的) reports of Solomon's wisdom and splendor bring the queen from the Yemen to Jerusalem. Unlike the people of Christ's day this woman was prepared to undertake a long journey to find out for herself the truth of what she had heard.
Why?
The queen of Sheba praised the Lord for she witness the greatness of wisdom of Solomon and his wealth and the burnt offering in the Temple of God, etc. She was overwhelmed by Israel that the Lord gave to king Solomon.
The queen of Sheba knew that all of these blessing are coming from the Lord.
All of the glory and prosperity are the gift of the Lord, so praise be to the Lord!
How?
What I have and what honor I got are the blessing of the Lord. Let me be sharing man of the blessing from the Lord to others.

Pursue prosperityof the world or the Holy life of the Lord
1 Kings 9:23-28
Three times a year Solomon sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offering on the altar he had built for the Lord, and fulfilled the temple obligations.
King Solomon also built ships at Ezion Geber, on the shore of the Red Sea. And Hiram sent his men- sailors who knew the sea - to serve in the fleet with Solomon's men. They sailed to Ophir and brought back 420 talents of gold, which they delivered to King Solomon.
Solomon is the first of Israel's Kings to create a merchant navy. His ships traded with Arabia and beyond.
Ophir: Suggestions include South Arabia, East Africa, and even Indea.
Why?
Solomon had 550 officials supervising the men who did the work. And he also sacrificed offering three times a year. In ceremony he work like he observe the decree of the Lord, but on the other way he control people work for him and earn gold for him. He pursue his prosperity instead of the Holy life.
Am I pursue the prosperity in the world or pursue the holy life for the Lord?
How?
May my life be holy and observe the Lord's word and decree, and honor the name of the Lord

Indulge in success
1 Kings 9:10-22
King Solomon gave twenty towns in Galilee to Hiram king of Tyre, because Hiram had supplied him with all the cedar and pine and gold he wanted, Hiram had sent to the king 120 talents of gold.
Here is the account of the forced labor King Solomon conscripted to build the Lords temple, his own palace, the supporting terraces, the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, Megiddo and Gezer.
All the people left from the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, that is, their descendants remaining in the land - these Solomon conscripted for his slave labor force.
For all his wealth, Solomon has his balance of trade problems. On his occasion he makes 20 cities over to Hiram of Tyre as security against a loan.
The vast labor force needed for new building and defense works is raised from two sources. Native Canaanites provided permanent slave labor. And the Israelite are pressed into short-term forced labor.
Why?
Solomon sole the 20 cities, his territories and his people to Hiram. This is against the law of the Lord.
Solomon built his palaces and the temple, he built others for himself and to storehouse villages and villages for chariots and horses. Make wealth for himself.
When Solomon under the success of his work, he is losing the faith and fear to the Lord. It is easy to indulge in the success.
How?
Be aware, the success indulgence may obscure my eyes and heart, keep the faith and fear to the Lord! All I have is come from the Lord.

Two ways and two consequences
King 1 9:1-9
The Lord appeared to Solomon second time, as he had appeared to him at Gibeon.
If you walk before me in integrity of heart and uprightness, as David your father did, and do all I command and observe my decrees and laws. You shall never fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.
But if you or your sons turn away from me and do not observe the commands and decree I have given you and go off to serve other gods and worship them, then I will cut off Israel from the land I have given them and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name.
If ... if not' - God repeats the promise made to David, with a warning. Solomon ignored this and suffered the consequences, though God did not break his promise of a lasting family line.
Why?
There are two ways and two consequences God warned Solomon, but Solomon ignored this and suffered the consequences for the rich and power made him forgot the grace of the Lord!
Even there was temple of the Lord built in Jerusalem, but more important is to observe decree of the Lord and obey his command in integrity of heart and uprightness.
Integrity : the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness; the state of being whole and undivided.
How?
Do not be a religious appearance but be an Christian with integrity of heart and uprightness to the Lord.

Jesus has made intercession for my transgression
Isaiah 53:7-12
Like a lamb taken to be slaughtered and like a sheep being sheared, he took it all in silence.
Who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken.
Yet it was the Lord's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.
After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life and be satisfied, by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Yes, 'It was my will that he should suffer'. He 'will bear the punishment of many and for his sake I will forgive them'
Why?
Who can speak of his descendants? Did anyone really know what was happening? No everyone.
Jesus was treated as a sinner, criminal.
For God makes Jesus life a guilt offering and he conquered the dead so Jesus can bear iniquities of many and made intercession for the transgressors.
Jesus' silence means the love and obedience to the Lord. The Lord knew it but God keeps silence.
Even now I am under suffering and praying without answer, but I know the Lord heard my prayer.
How?
Keep faith to the Lord, God is my savior, my hope and my strength, Jesus has bear my iniquities, and made intercession for my transgression.

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering; Isaiah 53:1-6
Isaiah 53;1-6
Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their face he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
How different this is from the people's understanding of the future king: no acclaim, only rejection - a figure despised and ignored.
The New Testament echoes Isaiah, seeing in Jesus the ultimate fulfillment of these words. He it was who willingly gave his life that all might be forgiven, taking ' the place of many sinners' to reconcile God and his people, 'undoing' the effects of that original downfall.
Why?
When Isiah was sad for the King had passed away, the Lord let him see the future king Jesus Christ will come as a servant and was rejected by his people.
Jesus Christ is punished and pierced for out transgressions, and by his wounds we are healed, reconcile God and his people.
How?
Confess my sins and turn to the Jesus Christ, for his great mercy and grace I like to turn focus of my life to Jesus Christ.

Key

- 反倒虛己,取了奴僕的形像,成為人的樣式;

The time is coming, I will make a new covenant; Jeremiah 31:31-37
Jeremiah 31:31-37
"The time is coming," declares the Lord, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them.
I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God and they will be my people.
For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.
This is what the Lord says, the Lord Almighty is his name.
This new covenant and decrees will stand forever.
God promises his people a future. They will be saved and restored. And a new covenant will replace the old one made at Sinai which they have broken. This time God will remake them from within, giving them the power to do his will.
The writers of the New Testament(which means 'new covenant') see in Jesus Christ the full realization of Jeremiah's prophecy. It is the Holy spirit's work, through Christ, to 'write God's laws' on 'the hearts' of all believers.
Why?
For God loves his people, the decree made to their forefather, but they have broken the old covenant so God make a new covenant, which is write in their minds and on their hearts.
The salvation is coming, turn to the Lord and believe the Jesus Christ, all our sins will be forgiven and God will remember no more. This is the greatest mercy and grace.
How?
How to express my appreciation to the Lord for his love? Love the Lord with all my heart, all my mind and all my strength, love my neighbors as myself.

The Lord revealed their plot to me; Jeremiah 11:18-23
Jeremiah 11:18-23
Because the Lord revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing. I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me.
But, O Lord Almighty, you who judge righteously and test the heart and mind, let me see your vengeance upon them, for to you I have committed my cause.
Therefore this is what the Lord Almighty says 'I will punish them. Their young men will die by sword, their sons and daughters by famine. Not even a remnant will be left to them, because I will bring disaster on the men of Anathoth in the year of their punishment'.
Jeremiah's message aroused such intense anger that the people of Anathoth, his home town, were prepared to kill him if he didn't stop. It is God keeping his promise to protect the prophet, who alerts Jeremiah to the danger.
Why?
Because Jeremiah preached the word of God and warning to them what judgment of the Lord will come if they continue doing the evil things.
There are trouble and difficult on the way to preach the word of God. But God will protect his servants. God is the Almighty God who test the heart and mind, reveals the plot to his servant.
Same as Jesus Christ was against by his people in his home town. Facing on the crossing, Jesus was prayed to the Lord and faced the way to bleeding for the salvation to us.
How?
Do what I should do as Jesus did for us, preach God's good news and honor God's holy name, obey God's word in my daily life.

To be a real worshiper to the Lord; Jeremiah 7:1-11
Jeremiah 7:1-11
This is what the Lord Almighty says: Reform your ways and your actions, and I will let you live in this place. Do not trust in deceptive words and say, "This is the temple of the Lord!"
If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, if you do not oppress the alien, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, then I will let you live in this place for ever and ever.
Has this house which bears my Name, become a den of robbers to you? But I have been watching! declaring the Lord.
The people had a superstitious faith in the Temple. They though God would always protect Jerusalem as he had done because his Temple was there. They were wrong, God sends Jeremiah to stand at the Temple gate and tell them that God knows the difference between religious ritual and real religion. He sees all that goes on.
Why?
Because they do many things that God hates and did injustice things. So even Temple of God is there but God does not protect them. They worship the Lord by ritual, but there heart is away from the Lord.
Same as one who worship the Lord in the church every Sunday but do not obey God's word when He go out of church. It is detestable things to the Lord.
How?
Let me be a real follower of God, fully obey God's word and do the right things in my daily life. Reform my ways and my actions. Worship the Lord with all my mind, all my heard and all my strength.

The humble king riding on a donkey ; Zech 9
Zechariah 9:9-12
See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
He will proclaim peace to the nations. His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.
As for you, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will free your prisoners from the waterless pit.
O prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.or
The pictures God's conquest and the joyous arrival of the Messiah to claim the land. He comes riding a donkey to inaugurate a rule of peace. All Israel's old enemies fall before him. There will be no more oppression.
Why?
Jesus came to us, riding on a donkey, means a king of peace, no for fight but for the peace, riding on a colt instead of a horse.
The kingdom of Jesus built has over around the world, it is to nations and has extended from sea to sea.
Jesus shed his blood to made covenant with all follow Him.

Joyful and glad in heart to worship the Lord
1 Kings 8:62-66
The king and all the Israelite dedicated(devoted) the temple of the Lord.
Solomon observed the festival at that time, and all Israel with him - a vast assembly, people from Lebo Hamath to the Wadi of Egypt. They celebrated it before the Lord out God for seven days and seven days more, 14 days in all.
They blessed the king and then went home, joyful and glad in heart for all the good things the Lord had done for his servant David and his people Israel.
Why?
There were 22,000 cattle and 120,000 sheep for fellowship offering. Each day had about 1500~600 cattle and 8500~8600 sheep, it could serve 100~200 thousand people, most of the people in Jerusalem should enjoyed to eat these meat.
The king play the key role to worship the Lord, it may affect the people to follow him to worship the Lord, observe God's decree. Taiwan needs a spiritual leader to leads people turn to the Lord.
The king and people together to worship the Lord with joyful and glad in heart to dedicate the temple of the Lord. It is the real worship in whole country.

Live by his decrees and obey his commands
1 Kings 8:52-61
For you singled them out from all the nations of the world to be your own inheritance, just as you declared through your servant Moses when you, Sovereign Lord, brought our fathers out of Egypt.
And may these words of mine, which I have prayed before the Lord, be near to the Lord our God day and night, that he may uphold the cause of his servant and the cause of his people Israel according to each day's need.
But your hearts must be fully committed to the Lord our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands, as at this time.
Why?
Praise be to the Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised.
For He is the Lord our God, God has protected us and has given us rest.
Learn how Solomon pray to the Lord, give praise to the Lord and explain the promised word has given to us.

God is the Lord of universe
1 Kings 8:41-51
Solomon continue prays for the foreigner and those who sin against you - for there is no one who does not sin - and God becomes angry with them and give them over to the enemy, who takes them captive to his own land, far away or near, and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their conquerors. Hear their plea, and uphold their cause. Forgive all the offense they have committed against you.
This is the way for foreigners may become heirs of the Lord.
Why?
Solomon seems knew that Israelite will sin against the Lord and be captive to far away places. But for the Holy Name of the Lord and his love, anyone repent and plead with God, pray to the Lord to uphold their cause and forgive all the offense they have committed.
Solomon pray for this Temple for foreigner and Israelite for the Lord is the God over all the land, God is the Lord of universe.
How?
Let me hold the mission to preach gospel to others who does not know the Lord, include foreigners,

Fear God all the time they live in the land
1 Kings 8:31-40
When a man wrongs his neighbor, your people Israel have been defeated by an enemy because they have sinned against you, there is no rain because your people have sinned against you, famine or plague comes to the land, or other disaster come on them. And they pray toward this place and confess your name and turn from their sin because you have afflicted them, then hear from heaven and forgive the sins of your servants.
So that they will fear you all the time they live in the land you gave our fathers.
Why?
For God is full of mercy and justice, so under any condition or disaster when his servants confess their sin and pray toward to the Temple and turn from their sin, the Lord will forgive their sins.
Solomon did not pray to the Lord give full of food and rich for his people, but pray the Lord let his people fear the Lord and turn to God for God will hear from heaven and forgive their sins.
How?
Pray for the people live in this land let them fear the Lord and turn to the Jesus Christ.

But will God really dwell on earth?
1 Kings 8:22-30
O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below.
Promises God made to David, 'You shall never fail to have a man to sit before me on the throne of Israel, if only your sons are careful in all they do to walk before me as you have done."
But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you.
Yet give attention to your servant's prayer and his pleas for mercy. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day. May your eyes be open toward this temple night and day, this place of which you said, ' My Name shall be there,' so that you will hear the prayer your servant prays toward this place.
Solomon's prayer, for the royal house and for the nation.
Why?
God is the only one who has authority above all on the earth and above heaven.
Name of God is the power and mercy. God promised to David his name shall be there - the Temple, so Israelite may pray toward the Temple.
Pray first is to praise to the Lord and mention God's word, then pray for our own request.
How?
According to the promise and God's words to pray to the Lord.

Praise be to the Lord
1 Kings 8:12-21
Solomon said, "The Lord has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud;"
Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who with his own hand has fulfilled what he promised with his own mouth to my father David.
I have provided a place there for the ark, in which is the covenant of the Lord that he made with our fathers when he brought them out of Egypt.
My name: God himself is present in a special sense in the Temple, as he was in the Tent of God. But Isreal's Tempe, unlike pagan temples, held not statue to represent their God.
Why?
For the Lord like David and he followed God's way, so God promised David let his son Solomon succeeded him to build the Temple of the Lord. The Lord likes David.
Solomon payed effort to build the temple of the Lord, and he gives the honor to his father David and the Lord, for his knew that all of these is the mercy of the Lord on him. It is the Lord chose Solomon to be succeeded David.
The same that all I have is the mercy of the Lord on me, I like to give honor to the Lord, Almighty.
How?
Give honor to the Lord. Praise be to the Lord!

God's glory fills the Temple
1 Kings 8:1-11
The King Solomon summoned into his presence at Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark of the Lord's covenant from Zion.
The priest and Levites carried them up, and King Solomon and the entire assembly of Israel that had gathered about him were before the ark.
There was nothing in the ark except the two stone tablets that Moses had placed in it at Horen, where the Lord made a covenant with the Israelite after they came out of Egypt.
When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud filled the temple of the Lord.
Work complete, the Ark is brought from the citadel and installed in the inner sanctuary. And the whole Temple building shines with the light of God's presence - the same bright cloud that once rested on God's Tent in the desert.
Why?
The Ark have to be carried by priests , can't carry by car or other ways.
Inside the ark is the covenant of two tablets, it is the law between God and Israelite. It is the kernel of they worship. The cloud fill the temple means God's presence with them.
How?
Now we are the temple of the Lord, let God's word and Holy Spirit fills me is the only way to make glory of God from us.
