Isaiah 53:7-12
Like a lamb taken to be slaughtered and like a sheep being sheared, he took it all in silence.
Who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken.
Yet it was the Lord's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.
After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life and be satisfied, by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Yes, 'It was my will that he should suffer'. He 'will bear the punishment of many and for his sake I will forgive them'
Why?
Who can speak of his descendants? Did anyone really know what was happening? No everyone.
Jesus was treated as a sinner, criminal.
For God makes Jesus life a guilt offering and he conquered the dead so Jesus can bear iniquities of many and made intercession for the transgressors.
Jesus' silence means the love and obedience to the Lord. The Lord knew it but God keeps silence.
Even now I am under suffering and praying without answer, but I know the Lord heard my prayer.
How?
Keep faith to the Lord, God is my savior, my hope and my strength, Jesus has bear my iniquities, and made intercession for my transgression.
