Pursue prosperityof the world or the Holy life of the Lord

1 Kings 9:23-28
Three times a year Solomon sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offering on the altar he had built for the Lord, and fulfilled the temple obligations.
King Solomon also built ships at Ezion Geber, on the shore of the Red Sea. And Hiram sent his men- sailors who knew the sea - to serve in the fleet with Solomon's men. They sailed to Ophir and brought back 420 talents of gold, which they delivered to King Solomon.
Solomon is the first of Israel's Kings to create a merchant navy. His ships traded with Arabia and beyond.
Ophir: Suggestions include South Arabia, East Africa, and even Indea.
Why?
Solomon had 550 officials supervising the men who did the work. And he also sacrificed offering three times a year. In ceremony he work like he observe the decree of the Lord, but on the other way he control people work for him and earn gold for him. He pursue his prosperity instead of the Holy life.
Am I pursue the prosperity in the world or pursue the holy life for the Lord?
How?
May my life be holy and observe the Lord's word and decree, and honor the name of the Lord
