Run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus

Hebrew 11:29-12:02
Those who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions,  quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.
They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.
These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.
And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
And there were many more like these. Yet none of them received what God had promised - because he had a better plan, says the writer, one that included us too.
As for us, we are surrounded by these heroes of faith. They are looking on, crowding around the track to see us run. So, strip off everything that hinders, and run the Christian race to the finish. COnsider Christ - the ultimate example of faith its pioneer and perfector.
Why?
There are many men did good witnesses for us, so we do not fear but encouragement for the Lord planned something better for us than anything we are struggling to.
Many people were dead for Jesus Christ, they lost their life but God prepares better for them.
What we have to do is run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus.
Ho
Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
