If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains

 John 9:35-41

Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, Do you believe in the Son of Man?”  “Who is he, sir?” the man asked. “Tell me so that I may believe in him.”

Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.”

Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.

Jesus said, For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”

Jesus said, If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.

By contrast, the sighted allow prejudice and pride to blind them to the truth. Confronted by a miracle, all they can see is a broken sabbath rule. Their minds are closed. They will not listen to the man's own simple logic.

Why?

The physically blind people believe in Jesus as Son of the Lord, He is not guilty of sin, but for the pride and prejudice, many people have sinned for their behavior.

Mind's blind is more severe than the eye's blind!

How?

Let us be humble and face the Lord in our conscious, for the Lord clearly knows what we are  thinking and what we are doing.
