Do not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by prophecy, signs or wonders

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12
Paul reminded us not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us or that the day of the Lord has already come.
The day will come when 1)the rebellion occurs and 2)the man of lawlessness is revealed, 3)the man doomed命定的 to destruction.
He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped so the he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
The secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders.
They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
Why?
This passage is one of the most difficult in all Paul's letters. It is better, in some cases, to admit we do not know the meaning than to speculate.
Some of the Thessalonian Christians thought the Day of the Lord had already begun. But Paul has never said so. Before this happens, he explains, there will be a great, final rebellion against God, headed by an individual utterly opposed to him.
At present there are forces at work restraining evil - but in the end these will be swept away. Victory will come only through Christ, when he appears.
The one who hold it back: Perhaps Paul personalized the principle of law and government which hold evil in check; perhaps he means an angelic being We really do not know.
Man of lawlessness: Not Satan himself, but the leader of the anti-God forces, who sets himself up as God.
How?
Keep this in my mind that what will be in the future and what I should keep is believe in the truth and follow the Jesus Christ and the Lord is the only God.
