Proverbs 23:17-35
Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will be cut off.
The father of righteous man has great joy; he who has a wise son delights in him.
May your father and mother be glad; may she who gave you birth rejoice!
Who has woe? sorrow strife complaints? needless bruises bloodshot eyes? Those who linger over wine, who go to sample bowls of mixed win. For drunkards, gluttons貪食become poor and drowsiness睡意 cloths them in rag.
Why?
Sinners may have rich life or some honor name, do not envy them for they don't know how it will be and what their stress are.
Zealous for the fear of the Lord, for there is surely hope for us. Zealous is more stronger than love or like to, it means ardently active, devoted, or diligent; full of, characterized by, or due to zeal.
To be a righteous man and wise man may bless our parent and our children, our family. Why should I ruin myself?
Keep away all evil matter includes drunk in wines.
How?
Zealous for the fear of the Lord. I will do it as all my heart, all my soul and all my strength.
