Isaiah 42:1-9
God present his servant and commissions him.
The servat of the Lord, who be uphold by the Lord with the Spirit of God.
He will is quiet and bring justice to the nations.
A Bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justie on earth.
The Lord have called him in righteousness; God will keeps him and will make him to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles.
To open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. - missions of Masiah.
I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not give my glory to aother or my praise to idols.
Why?
A new thee begins to unfold, alongside the forcast of Babylon's downfall God's plan t open the eyes of the whole world and bring them salvation. This was, from the very beginning, the intended role of Israel.
Chapter 42 begins abruptly with the unexplained. Here is my servant.'. It is left to the reader to work out exactly who this is.
Servant of the Lord is humble ad quiet but with Holy Spirit and walking with Mercy and Justice. He is the light for the gentile and is a covenant for the people. Anyone trust in him and repent will be saved from the sins.
How?
Here shows me what is the altitude of servant of God, no quarrel, no shout, be humble, with full of love and walk with justice, faithfulness to bring the justice to others. Give glory to the Lord. Learn from Jesus Christ!
