In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength

Isaiah 30:1-33
Because of you have rejected this message, relied on oppression and depended on deceit, this sin will become for you like a high wall creacked and bulging, that colapses suddenly, in a instant.
In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.
Yet the Lord longs to be graciou to you; he rise to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!
How gracious he will be when you cry or help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teacher will be hidde not more; with your eyes you will see them.
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it." You will defile your idols overlaid with silver and your images covered with gold.
Why?
Judah is in league with Egypt and they think themselves secure against Assyria despite all Isaiah's earlier warnings.
But when it comes to the crunch Egypt will sit tight while the Assyrians invade Judah.
It is God - the One they would not trust - who will save them in the end.
Rahab: A poetic synonym for Egypt.
Topheth is in the Valley of Hinnom, just outside Jerusalem, where in Israel's darkness days children were sacrificed to the pagan god Molech. The valley later supplied the name for hell, 'Gehenna'.
The Lord, our God is faithful and full of gracious. He listens our pray. Blessed are all who wait for him. The time of God is not our schedule. His help won't late to us.
In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength. How precious it is. Do not worry or anxious to walk on the way of God! Wait and be quiet! Trust in Him!
I believe that the Lord will tell me what is the way He prepares for me.
How?
Be quite and be faithful to the Lord! God is my way, my truth and my life.
