Have faith to the Lord, don’t be afraid to what we see

Numbers 23:1-30
9/24/2013
First place of seven altars can see whole Israelite. Second place see only a part but not all of them. Third times overlooking the wasteland.
Balaam asked Balak built seven altars and he listened the oracle from the Lord.
God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind.
The Lord let Balaam proclaim to Balak and other nations what is the plan of the Lord will do to Israel and God is with them.
Neither bribe nor threat will budge him from the truth as God reveals it to him.
Three times Balaam blesses Israel, to the increasing anger of Balak.
God’s purpose seems to be so to impress Balaam, that no matter how hard Balak works on him, the prophet will stick to the truth.
Why?
The Lord is not a man, his plan won’t change and his words always are truth.
Balaam hope there is some opportunity to curse Israel and get some reward from Balak, but the Lord don’t allow he do so. The Lord used Balaam, craved reward, proclaimed his blessing to Israelites.
Seven altars with bull and ram are great altars to the Lord. But the Lord doesn’t see these offering.
Seeing the people or did not see the people both won’t change the mind of the Lord, and his word. See the feature or not won’t change our faith to the Lord. So as the Lord to us.
How?

Don’t look at the scene of our eyes but focus on the Lord, He is our hope and our savior. Faith is not build on what we see but on what we have not seen. The Lord always do the new things for me.
