Ezekiel 13:1-16
Woe to the foolish prophets, when they say, "the Lord declares", when the Lord has not sent them. They said false visions and uttered lying divination.
You will know I am the Sovereign Lord- 1)false prophets will not be able enter the land of Israel, 2)those prophets of Israel who prophesied to Jerusalem and saw visions of peace for her when there was no peace, 3)God will tear off their veils and save God's people from their hands and they will no longer fall prey to their power, 4)God will save his people from the magic charm's hands.
The daughters of Israel who prophesy out of their own imagination. They ensnare the lives of my people but preserve your own.... lying to my people who listen to lies, your have killed those who should not have died and have spared those who should not live.
The magic may have to do with amulets符咒, or represent some kind of 'bindling' power. The hunt is for 'lives' - the whole person - not 'souls'
Why?
The false prophets were like plaster, concealing the crumbling structure of the nation, but unable to stop it falling.
Unlike the false prophets, when God says something will happen, he means it - and he has the power to carry it out. There is often a conditional aspect to prophecy, even so: the response of the people may bring about a change in the way God carries out his plans.
False prophet is against the ten commandments - You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
How?
Make clear what is truth and false by God's words and the principle of the bible. Don't astrayed by the false vision.
