1Cor 4:1-13
I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me.
Do not go beyond what is written. Then you will not take pride in one man over against one else?
We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but your are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored!
There should be no place for pride among Christians and no looking down on others. The greatest Christians regard themselves as no more than God's slaves. That is the example to follow.
Why?
Paul described his situation is so worse but the Christians in Corinthians were quarreling and proud in what they are.
We care little if we are judged by others. Only the Lord who judges us. It is not make me innocent.
We live out the honor of the Lord, from the eyes of men we are like fools. For we are the servant of the Lord.
There are comparison among Paul, his co-workers and Christians in Corinthians, does Paul are fools, surely no. Paul worked hard for honor name of the Lord! Paul hope they be a king, but they did not.
How?
Be humble and no place for pride among Christians and do not looking down on others.
