1 Cor 10:14-33
The sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons.
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too!
Everything is permissible - but not everything is beneficial. Nobody should seek his own good but the good of others.
Eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience.
Why should my freedom be judged by another's conscience? So whether you eat or drink of whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
Christian must choose between the Lord and idols. There can be no compromise. It is playing with fire to have any part in pagan sacrifices. As far as meat is concerned, the rule is unselfish concern for the good of others.
Why?
We cannot be follower of Jesus and follower of demons, for God is Holy.
We are free to do anything according to our conscience, but it is doesn't mean we can do what I want to do, but for good of others I don't do it.
Don't be an stumble of others in believing the Lord.
How?
Living holy and there is not compromise between God and demons. Let my life be honor the Lord and good to others!
