Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances

1 Thessalonians 5:12-28
Paul's final instruction
1. Respect those who work hard among you. Hold them in the highest regard in love.
2. Warn those who are idle, encourage the timid(膽小), help the weak, be patient with everyone.
3. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.
4. Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
5. Do not put out the Spirit' fire.
6. Do not treat prophecies with contempt.
7. Test everything. Hold on to the good, Avoid every king of evil.
8. Spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul manages to pack 17 practical and characteristic commands into these few verses.
Paul's prayer is comprehensive: for the whole person in every aspect. Authority sits beside humility.
The apostle, who never ceases to pray for his readers, knows how much he needs their prayers.
Why?
All of these are the behavior of a Christian have to be. Paul remind us to follow these.
Lover others and be a blameless man before the Lord.
God give us each circumstance to make us more strong in spirit and more humble before the Lord and men. God's will is good to me.
How?
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances.
