The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom

Psalm 111
Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them.
Glorious and majestic are his deeds,  and his righteousness endures forever.
He has caused his wonders to be remembered;  the Lord is gracious and compassionate.
He provides food for those who fear him;  he remembers his covenant forever.
The works of his hands are faithful and just;  all his precepts are trustworthy.
They are established for ever and ever,  done in faithfulness and uprightness.
He provided redemption for his people;  he ordained his covenant forever—
holy and awesome is his name.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;  all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.
This psalm is identical in from with Psalm 112. Both consist of 22 phrases each beginning with a successive letter of the Hebrew alphabet.
The psalmist rejoices in God's greatness; his faithfulness and Justice; his integrity and trustworthiness; his provision and his redemption. Central to the psalm is God's covenant, the promises by which he binds himself to his people and which he will never forget. Respect for God is the true starting-point of all human wisdom.
Why?
When we ponder God's great works we will delight in him and fear the Lord.
God is glorious and majestic in his works and his righteousness endure forever.
God is full of gracious and compassionate, so come to the Lord, ask the help to the Lord and give thanks to the Lord!
Fear the Lord is the beginning of wisdom for his word and his love can lead us to walk on the right way. And God's blessing can protect us from the evil.
How?
Fear the Lord and follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.
