God planned the way for us and is good to me

Isaiah 23:1-18
A prophecy against Tyre:Wail, you ships of Tarshish!  For Tyre is destroyed  and left without house or harbor. From the land of Cyprus  word has come to them.
Be silent, you people of the island  and you merchants of Sidon, whom the seafarers have enriched.
Cross over to Tarshish; wail, you people of the island.T
The Lord Almighty planned it,  to bring down her pride in all her splendor  and to humble all who are renowned on the earth.
The Lord has stretched out his hand over the sea  and made its kingdoms tremble. He has given an order concerning Phoenicia  that her fortresses be destroyed.
He said, “No more of your reveling,  Virgin Daughter Sidon, now crushed!“Up, cross over to Cyprus; even there you will find no rest.” Wail, you ships of Tarshish;your fortress is destroyed!
At that time Tyre will be forgotten for seventy years, the span of a king’s life. But at the end of these seventy years, it will happen to Tyre as in the song of the prostitute:
At the end of seventy years, the Lord will deal with Tyre. She will return to her lucrative prostitution and will ply her trade with all the kingdoms on the face of the earth. Yet her profit and her earnings will be set apart for the Lord; they will not be stored up or hoarded. Her profits will go to those who live before the Lord, for abundant food and fine clothes.
The centuries Tyre and Sidon dominated the sea-trade in the eastern Mediterranean. Tyre's colonies, of which Cyprus was the nearest, were widespread. And the city's merchantmen ventured as far afield as the Indian Ocean and the English Channel. A major traeline was Egyptian grain.
Tyre was a city corrupted by its own wealth and success, and Isaiah warns of the approaching end. He spoke truely. In 722/1 the city fell to Sargon of Assyria. In 701 the ruler of Tyre fled to Cyprus as Sennacherib approached. As Assyria declined, Tyre regained its power, only to lost it again to the Babylonians.
Why?
God is the Lord not only to Guess people but also the God of others.
Codes judgement is starting from his people then to other's.
Who can stand firm before the Lord.
How?
Fear the Lord and honor his Holy name, not matter what we met there is the way of Gid planned for us. Evev my friend lost pocket in Spain. Under God's blessing I am find. But upset to these happened.

The key to the house of David and look the one who made it

Isaiah 22:1-25
A prophecy against the Valley of Vision.
You built a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the Old Pool, but you did not look to the One who made it, or have regard for the One who planned it long ago.
But see, there is joy and revelry, slaughtering of cattle and killing of sheep, eating of meat and drinking of wine! Let us eat and drink,” you say, “for tomorrow we die!”
the Lord Almighty, says: Beware, the Lord is about to take firm hold of you and hurl you away, you mighty man. He will roll you up tightly like a ball and throw you into a large country. There you will die and there the chariots you were so proud of will become a disgrace to your master’s house.
In that day I will summon my servant, Eliakim son of Hilkiah.  I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I will drive him like a peg into a firm place; he will become a seat of honor for the house of his father.
Jerusalem was Isaiah's home. It was here that he had his visions. The city is surrounded by valleys and mountains. The 'Vaeely of Vision' which stands for the city is probably the Hinnom Valley. Despite the reprieve in Hezekiah's day. Isaiah foresees the future destruction of Jerusalem.
The people's reaction in the face of disaster is a mixture of frenzied activity and sheer escapism. They check their weapons and store water against a siege, but they do not 'look to the Maker of the city'.
Verse 15 relate to Isaiah's own day. Shebna, a high official in Hezekiah's court is to be demoted, and Eliakim promoted. But he will find himself unable to cope with his hangers-on, and his authority will be short-lived.
Why?
No matter under good situation or face trouble, the only way is to look on the One who made it. The Lord Almighty.
Who is promoted or demoted is the authority of the Lord. What my situation could be is in hands of the Lord.
How?
Look on the One who made it.

A prophecy against the Desert by the Sea.

Isaiah 21:1-17
A prophecy against the Desert by the Sea.
Elam, attack! Media, lay siege! I will bring to an end all the groaning she caused.
My people who are crushed on the threshing floor,  I tell you what I have heard from the Lord Almighty, from the God of Israel.
This is what the Lord says to me: “Within one year, as a servant bound by contract would count it, all the splendor of Kedar will come to an end.
The survivors of the archers, the warriors of Kedar, will be few.” The Lord, the God of Israel, has spoken.
The 'wilderness' or 'desert by the sea' is Babylonia. The downfall on Babylon will be good news to the captives from Israel. Even so, Isaiah is appalled by what he foresees. Being a 'seer' is a painful and costly business.
There is temporary respite for Edom - but judgment was to follow.
Not even the remote tribes of Arabia will escape the long arm of Assyria. This prophecy became reality when Sargon attacked Arabia in 715 BC.
Why?
The emporary respite for Edom - but judgment was to follow. Do not too joy when heard some good news, may be the judgment is follow
How?

Those who trusted in Cush and boasted in Egypt will be dismayed and put to shame

Isaiah 20:1-6
The Lord said, "just as my servant Isaiah has gone stripped and barefoot for three years, as a sign and portent against Egypt and Cush, so the king of Assyria will lead away stripped and barefoot the Egyptian captives and Cushite exiles young and old , with buttocks(臀部) bares - to Egypt's shame.
Those who trusted in Cush and boasted in Egypt will be dismayed and put to shame.
The year is 711BC, when the Assyrians crushed the Philistine rebellion at Ashdod. The support expected from Egypt had not materialized. Three years earlier, God had instructed Isaiah to mime the role of a slave, stripping off his sackcloth and sandals to go about naked and barefoot. It was a startling demonstration of the coming captivity of Egypt, designed to warn his people to place no reliance on help from that quarter. In 701 BC Egypt was defeated by Assyria.
Why?
Isaiah is servant of the Lord, so he obey God's command even it is shame to him to be a sign to Egypt and Cush.
But real case walked among peopel gave impressive warning of the coming event.
Trust in Cush and boasted in Egpt will be dismayed and put to shame, so as trust in men or wealth will be dismayed and put to shame.
How?
Trust in the Lord Almight and Jesus Christ is the only way to have peace and prosper life.

In that day the Egyptians will become weaklings.

Isaiah 19:1-25
In that day the Egyptians will become weaklings. They will shudder with fear at the uplifted and that the Lord Almighty raises against them.
In that day five cities in Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to he Lord Almighty. One of them will be called the City of the Sun.
In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the heart of Egypt, and a monument to the Lord at its border.
It will be a sign and witness to the Lord Almighty in the land of Egypt.
In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the  earth. The LordAlmighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.
This prophecy foretells the disintegration of Egypt: internal strife, followed by conquest, a ruined economy and breakdown of leadership.
Egypt was defeated by Assyria when Sennacherib's army besieged Jerusalem. Further defeats culminated in the sack of Thebes in 663BC, when the Assyrians pillaged centuries of temple treasure.
But God uses the sword for surgery, not anarchy. Verses 16-24 reveal his ultimate purpose: the revelation of himself to the Egyptian people. Amazingly, Egypt and Assyria will be united with Israel in the worship of God, bringing blessing to the whole world. 'That day' is the day of God's final intervention in judgment and salvation on a worldwide scale. The New Testament sees 'that day' as the day of Christ's return.
After Jerusalem feel in 587 there were numerous influential colonies of Jews in Egypt and in Assyria. A copy of the Jewish Temple was even constructed at Leontopolis in Egypt about 170BC. But all that was only a pale shadow of what is envisaged in Isaiah.
Why?
In that day is the day of Jesus Christ return from the heaven. Final intervention in judgment and salvation on a worldwide scale.

The Lord Almighty will bless them, to those who follow the Jesus Christ.
No matter how strong a nation and country, before the Lord have to be humble and be lower.
How?
God is the Lord, praise to his holy name. In that day all Christian are waiting its coming.

God is like shimmering heat in the sunshine

Isaiah 18L1-7
Go, swift messengers, to a people tall and smooth-skinned,  to a people feared far and widean aggressive nation of strange speech,  whose land is divided by rivers.
This is what the Lord says to me: I will remain quiet and will look on from my dwelling placelike shimmering heat in the sunshine,  like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.”
He will cut off the shoots with pruning knives, and cut down and take away the spreading branches. They will all be left to the mountain birds of prey and to the wild animals; the birds will feed on them all summer, the wild animals all winter - At that time gifts will be brought to the Lord Almighty
This is modern Sudan. In Isaiah's day Egypt was ruled by a Sudanese dynasty. The Assyrian threat brings envoys from afar. But God will deal with the invader on the very eve(前夕) of victory. And the far-off nation will send gifts in grateful homage to God.
Why?
The people of African are people tall and smooth-skinned, who were feared far and wide.
God is quiet and looks on from his dwelling, watching people is doing on the world.
God is exists like hear in the sunshine, not so hot but you can feel of comfort, like cloud of dew in the heat of harvest, let us feel comfort and calm down our heart. God is quiet but we know that he is there.
God take care every living one on the world, even the birds and animals.
At that time God will be honored and gifts will be brought to the Lord Almighty.
How?
God is my shelter and my savior. He is here like shimmering heat in the sunshine,  like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.

Love begin from love my brother

Isaiah 17:1-14
See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins.
In that day people will look to their Maker and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel. They will not look to the altars, the work of their hands, and they will have no regard for the Asherah poles and the incense altars their fingers have made.
You have forgotten God your Savior; you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress. Therefore, though you set out the finest plants and plant imported vines, though on the day you set them out, you make them grow, and on the morning when you plant them, you bring them to bud, yet the harvest will be as nothing in the day of disease and incurable pain.
Why?
The prophecy also attacks Israel for siding with Syria against their kin - nation of Judah.
Ally with others to against our own brother is not acceptable before the Lord.
How?
Actions of love is love our brother first.

All boasta are empty

Isaiah 16:1-14
In love a throne will be established, in faithfulness a man will sit on it - one from the house of David - one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of righteousness.
We have heard of Moab's pride - how great is her arrogance! of her conceit, her pride and her insolence(傲慢; )but her boasts are empty. Therefore the Moabites wail, they wail(哀號) together for Moab. Lament and grieve for the raisin cakes of Kir Hareseth.
But the Lord says:"Within three years, as a servant bound by contract would count them, Moab's splendor(輝) and all her many people will be despised, and her survivors will be very few and feeble."
Now only three short years away. Moab send to Jerusalem for help, and God urges his people to take the fugitives in.
The cities of Moab fell to Assyria in successive campaigns. They were to fall again to Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon.
Why?
For Moab's pride and her arrogance, conceit, her pride and insolence so Moab fall and his people will be despised.
All boasts are empty.
In love a throne will be established, in faithfulness a man will sit on it . This is the Jesus Christ, in God's love and faithfulness Jesus will be sit on the throne.
How?
Be humble, trust in the Lord and honor the holy name of the Lord.

Moab is ruined, destroyed in a night

Isaiah 15:1-9
A Prophecy Against Moab
Ar in Moab is ruined, destroyed in a nightKir in Moab is ruined, destroyed in a night!
Dibon goes up to its temple, to its high places to weep; Moab wails over Nebo and Medeba. Every head is shaved and every beard cut off.
My heart cries out over Moab; her fugitives(難民) flee as far as Zoar, as far as Eglath Shelishiyah. They go up the hill to Luhith, weeping as they goon the road to Horonaim they lament their destruction
Their outcry echoes along the border of Moab; their wailing reaches as far as Eglaim, their lamentation as far as Beer Elim.
The Moab were descendants of Abraham's nephew, Lot. They occupied the plateau land east of the Dead Sea. It was from Maon that Ruth came. At times the Moabites were on good terms with the Israelites, but they had no share in Israel's faith. Isaiah is stirred to sympathy at the spectacle of Maob's suffering.
These are all town in Maobs, 'Nebo' is the mountain from which Moses viewed the promised land; 'Zoar' a town at the southern Sodom. The 'Valley of willows/poplars' is probably the boundary between Moab and Edom to the south.
Why?
When diisaster come, there is no one can escape, even different country. So as economy crisis come it affects whole world.
Isiah felt the terrible of  Moah, their relative country.
Head is shaved and beard cut off means shame on their traditional culture.
How?
Do not joy with other country under suffering, it is warning to everyone.

For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him

Isaiah 14:21-32
The Lord Almighty has sworn, "Surely, as I have purposed, so it will happen,  I will crush the Assyrian in my land; on my mountains I will trample him down. His yoke will be taken from my people, and his burden removes from their shoudlers."
For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart(阻撓) him?   His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?
Wail, you gate! Howl, you city! Melt away, all you Philistines! A cloud of smoke comes from the .north, and there is not a straggler in its ranks. What answer shall be given to the envoys of that nations?
"The Lord has established Zion, and in her his afflicted(折磨) people will find refuge."
Assyria's fate is also sealed. Ultimately Babylon will break the power of Assyria. But before that there will be a signal defeat in God's own land,
The date is probably, Assyria is in trouble, and the Philistines try to persuade Judah to join them in rebellion. But the Assyrians are far from finished. Worse is to come - and the Philistines are doomed. God's poor and suffering people, however, find sagety in him.
Why?
The Lord Almighty has pruposed, who can thwart, His hand is streched out, and who can turn it back? No one can against the Lord.
Babyloian, Assyrian and Philistines both will be destroyed in God's plan. And both are happened as God said in history.
The Lord is righreousness and has compassion, only those who obey Him and turn to Him will be saved.
Whom I afraid ? what I need worrty? the income or the needy? God is my salvation and my way, God will lead me and provide what I need for God loves me.
How?
Praise the Lord Almighty, honor his great Holy name. May his word will done on earth as in heaven.

How you have fallen from heaven, morning star

Isaiah 14:1-20
The Lord will have compassion on Jacob; once again he will choose Israel and will settle them in their own land. Foreigners will join them and unite with the descendants of Jacob.
On the day the Lord gives you relief from your suffering and turmoiland from the harsh labor forced on you,  you will take up this tauntagainst the king of Babylon : How the oppressor has come to an end! How his fury has ended!
You also have become weak, as we are; you have become like us.
How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!
You will not join them in burial, for you have destroyed your land and killed your people. Let the offspring of the wicked never be mentioned again.
In Isiah's day Babylon was struggling for independence from Assyria. This prophecy concerns Babylon, 100 year later, at the height of it power - and looks forward to the day when Babylon in turn will be brought down.
In 539 Babylon fell to the Medes and Persians led by Cyrus. Xerxes destroyed the city in 478, and it was finally abandoned in the 4th century BC. In the New Testament, Babylon becomes a symbol. It is the city of rebel humanity, implacably(無情) opposed to God.
Why?
Human proud and their kingdom, authority will goes away and fell down one day. All become realm of the dead below. What the value of a man in the world?
The Lord have compassion on Jacob and to those who follow his word. God give us relief from suffering and turmoil and from the harsh labor forced on us.
Do not envy or angry to the evil doers, only those who walking on the way of the Lord and trust in Jesus Christ have eternal life.
How?
How you have fallen from heaven, morning star. Be humble and obey God's word and do what God's delight things.

A prophecy against Babylon

Isaiah 13:1-22
A prophecy against Babylon that Isaiah son of Amoz saw.the Lord and the weapons of his wrath - to destroy the whole country.
I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins, I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.
See, I will stir up against them the Medes, who do not care for silver and have no delight in gold.
Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the pride and glory of the Babylonians,, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah. She will never be inhabited or lived in through all generations.
The song of God's salvation will be on every one's lips. Isaiah picture is all in physical terms. But what he sees is a radical change. This is a new earth, centered on God and obedient to his will.
Why?
Babylon was so strong country, but will be destroyed by the Lord for their arrogance of the haughty.
No arrogance men or country could stand firm and longer before the Lord, when the day is come, their pride will fall soon and unbelievable.
How?
Be humble and follow the command of the Lord.

Surely God is my salvation

Isaiah 12:1-6
Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid.
The Lord, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.
Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.
Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious thing; let this be known to the world.
The song of God's salvation will be on every one's lips.
Isaiah pictures it all in physical terms. But what he sees is a radical change. This is a new earth, centered on God and obedient to his will.
Why?
Isaiah see the radical change in the future. So he praised the Lord and described the situation of every one's praises and proclaim God's holy name.
Yes, God is my salvation, my strength and my song. His name is exalted. Everyone will shout and sing new songs to praise the Lord.
God has done great and glorious things to me.
How?
Praise the name of the Lord with joy and trust in him without afraid.
