“So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life.

Acts 11:1-18
Peter explained to the circumcised believers, I remembered what the Lord and said: ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Chris, who was I to think that I could oppose God?
When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying,  “So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life.
The recounting of the events at Caesarea underlines their significance. The criticism Peter faces from a particularly narrow faction of Jewish Christians in Jerusalem will dog every stage of Paul’s missionary work. The admission of Gentiles to full membership of the church, without circumcision, is the most controversial question of the apostles’ generation. But Luke makes it clear that the apostles and leaders fully approved Peter’s action, the hand of God was so evident in it all.
Why?
It is clear evidence that the God gave same gift to Jewish and Gentiles, who am I to think that I could oppose God?
God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life. This is the mission on Paul to facing.
Do not limit on the word but on the motivation of the Holy Spirit and God.
How?
Holy Spirit makes me free from laws and mind to follow God’s way.
