For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you

Isaiah 41:1-16

Who has done this and carried it through, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord—with the first of them and with the last—I am he.”

The islands have seen it and fear; the ends of the earth tremble. They approach and come forward; they help each other and say to their companions, “Be strong!”

But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend, I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you,” declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. “See, I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth. You will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff. You will winnow them, the wind will pick them up, and a gale will blow them away. But you will rejoice in the Lord and glory in the Holy One of Israel.

Why?

The relationship between the Lord and Israel is different. Israel is the servant of the Lord because they were chosen by the Lord because they are the descendants of Abraham.

Do not fear God will help them.

Israel is God's servant, and Jacob was chosen by the Lord.

All of us could be Christians who were chosen by the Lord, not because of what we have done or who I am, but because the love of the Lord comes upon us.

神伸冤的方法是興起另外一個國家來懲罰列國。東方興起一人：波斯王古列。波斯的興起、各國的滅亡都是神的計劃。有時候我們看不懂，這是神的智慧不是我們能夠明白的。

各國害怕而去依靠自己的神，打造自己的神，且要釘牢釘穩。別人害怕，但是神的百姓不用害怕。雅各本來像蟲，不堪一擊，如今可以粉碎山林。神也使用波斯懲罰列國也使用波斯使以色列歸回，為了神的百姓。列國的興起與衰落都是為了神的百姓。因此我們不再抱怨，常常感恩！

Do not fear the strength and wisdom that come from the Lord. I am a servant of the Lord. God is my Lord forever!
