Genesis 15:1-12
Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.
The Lord promised Abram, give him this land to take possession of it. Abram asked God 'How can I know that I will gain possession of it?'
The Lord said to him, "Bring me a heifer(母牛), a goat(母山羊) and a ram(公綿羊), each three years old, along with a dove and a young pigeon."
God listens to Abram's doubts and fears - "I am childless'; 'How can I be sure...?' - and God's response is full of reassurance as he repeats his promises.
Why?
'Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness'. This is one of the most significant verses of Scripture, and in the circumstances a response of remarkable faith. Paul argues from this that Jews and non-Jews alike are put right with God through faith, not through keeping God's rules (since none of us can live perfect lives).
'Abram believed and was blessed; so all who believe are blesses as he was'
Offering of the first sacrifice was not like sin offering but a covenant assurance between God and Abram.
How?
All who believe in Jesus and the Lord as our savior, the blesses as Abram was will come.
