Keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just

Genesis 18:16-33
God does not hide from Abraham what he is about to do. For he has chosen him, so he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just.
The Lord said, "The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous that has reached me."
Abraham argued with the Lord do not destroy those cities from if there were 50, 45, 40, 30, 20 to10 righteous men in it. The Lord answered him, "I will spare the whole place for their sake."
Why?
Abraham's prayer gives an insight into the quality of his relationship with God. No wonder 2 Chronicles 20:7 describes him as 'God's friend'.
God must know for himself the truth about Sodom and Gomorrah: hearsay will no do.
Abraham leaps(飛躍) to the conclusion that judgment is inevitable(必然), yet he knows it is against God's nature to condemn the innocent. He feels his way forward, not changing God's mind, but growing ever more certain that 'the judge of all the earth' will 'do what is just'. In the event, though Sodom could not produce even ten 'innocent' people, God saved four - Lot, his wife and two daughters.
How?
Keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just.
