Judges 3:1-11

Why?
Anger... sold (v8): The writer ascribes human feelings to God and, since God is in charge of human affairs, expresses that in direct terms which often make modern readers uncomfortable. This is the style of the whole book, and we see it in many other parts of the Old Testament.
The Spirit of the Lord came upon him: The same phrase in used of Gideon, Jephthah and Samson. The might of these champions was a special gift from God.
40 years is frequently used in the Old Testament as a round number meaning ' a generation' or ' for a long time.'
Morden feel unconfortable because they do not like God's righteousness and angry, people don't like be pinished. Actually, God loves everyone who comes to the Lord and cried to Him.
How?
God is in charge of human affair in the world.
