Judges 4:1-11
Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was leading Israel at that time. she held court under the Palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim.
The powerful story is dominated by two extraordinary women - Deborah the prophetess and Jael, wife of tent-dwelling Heber the Kenite.
Deborah is a judge in the judicial sense, a woman of authority. Not only does she send for the military leader. Barak, a give him God's instruction, she is also perfectly ready to make an 80km/50mile journey north to go with him into battle.
Why?
God uses women as his servants, and led Israel to defeat their enemy.
Deborah is a prophetess, but Jael is a ordinary woman, they did wonderful thing. And the Lord is with them.
There is not difference with male or female, but who is follow the law of the Lord and encourage to obey God's commandments.
How?
Ready my heart to serve the Lord with faith and obedience.
