John14:1-14
Jesus said,"I am going there to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you be with me that you also may be where I am.
Thomas said,"Lord, e don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"
Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one can comes to the father except through me."
Philip said,"Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us."
Jesus answered,"Anyone who has seen me ha seen the Father I am in the Father, and that the Father is living in me."
Anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing.
Jesus will do whatever you ask in his name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
Why?
The disciples are worried and upset by the talk of betrayed and the thought of Jesus leaving them
Jesus and the Father are the same.
Jesus is the way and the only way to father in Heaven, Jesus is the truth, he gives us the truth. Jesus is the life, anyone who believe in has the eternal life.
Jesus is Making the approach road for men and women to come to God.
Thomas and Philip don't understand what Jesus said so they asked these question, Jesus answered these gave us more clear idea about who Jesus is.
Jesus was going to the Father, he gave us the right to ask God in Jesus name. The privilege of prayer
How?
Jesus will come back again and he gives us certainty in prayer. Blessed is he who believed in Him. Ho wonderful that Jesus loves me. We have hope and joy for we have eternal life.
