John 12:20-36
Some Greeks come to Galilee, they want to see Jesus.
Jesus said "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified."
Jesus said some parable, he is a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, but if it dies it produces many seeds. He is the prince of this world will be driven out.
When I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.
Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be.
Jesus's dead is for our benefit not Jesus. Jesus let Father glorify his name.
The crowd spoke up,"We have heard fro the law that the Christ will remain forever"
Jesus told them,"You are going to have the light just a little while longer, Walk while you have the light before darkness overtakes you. Put your trust in the light while you have it so that you may become sons of light.
Why?
Greeks come to find a complete man. They converts eek H=Jesus out.
Jesus knows 'the hour has come'.
His discourse is full of paradox: life multiplied through death: the glory that comes by way of the cross;
Satan, the prince of evil.
Trying to save life and losing life, the end are opposite.
Whoever serves Jesus must follow Jesus, devote his life, let the Lord glorify his name.
How?
Follow Jesus must walk the way of Jesus, devote our whole life to the Lord, let the Lord glory his name, not for my benefit but for others.
