John 11:17-32
When Jesus arrival, Lazarus had been in the tomb for four days.
Martha and Mary said to Jesus the same words"if you had been here, my brother would not had die."
Martha believe that Jesus is Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world.
Jesus said to Martha,"Your brother will rise again." Martha believes Lazarus will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; whoever lives and believes in me will never die."
Why?
Neither the disciples nor the two sisters could understand Jesus' behavior, but the outcome was strengthening of trust in him.
Mary might a little complained Jesus come here too late or she was mourned for her brother, so did not go out with Martha to meet Jesus.
Not only we will rise in the last day, but if the Lord permit, we may rise again in the world.
How?
When I am in sorrow I believe Jesus is the life, he is the resurrection, so even my mother is passed away, we will meet again one day in heaven.
