24 reasons to give thanks to the Lord. There are over then thousand reasons to give thanks to the Lord.
The description of God's great works in creation and history alternate with the people's refrain to God's unchanging timeless love.
Why?
Hallel is the Hebrew word for praise(as in Hallelujah: Praise the Lord!), and this psalm was sung at Passover.
The understanding, the idea of wisdom, as God's partner in creation is taken up in Proverbs 3:19-20 The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens; by his knowledge the deeps broke open, and the clouds drop down the dew.
How?
How do I give thanks to the God of gods ? With what reason in my life ? There are so many. Praise his name, worship him, pray to him, follow his words, obey his commands.
