Psalm 138:1-8
God and me: I walk in the midst of trouble, your preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me. The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me.
Prayer: May all the kings of the earth praise you, O Lord, when they hear the words of your mouth. May they sing of the ways of your mouth, for the glory of the Lord is great.
Do not abandon the works of your hands - the loved one, us.
Praise God: for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. When I called, you answered me; you made me bold and stouthearted.
God has answered prayer. Once again he has shown his faithful love.
He is great and high above, yet he cares for the lowly.
Why?
The proud He knows from afar, for proud men far away from the Lord.
The psalmist has a continuing story to tell of God's loving and protective care for individuals.
Praise the Lord for his love, faithfulness, name and his word.
How?
Praise the Lord with real things that he has done for us, praise God with all my heart, all my mind and all my strength.
