Consecrated yourselves to the Lord

2 Chronicles 29:20-36
When the building has been made ready king, priests and people are themselves made clean from sin by the offering of sacrifices.
The song to the Lord: Many of the psalms were written for use in the Temple on various occasions.
Hezekiah commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed down and worshiped.
Hezekiah said ,'You have now consecrated yourselves to the Lord. Come near; bring sacrifices and thank offerings to the house of the Lord.' And the assembly brought sacrifices and thank offering.
Why?
Not only the king consecrated himself but also his people come and consecrated themselves to the Lord. Worship the Lord and fear the Lord is important to all population and the leader of a nation.
Hezekiah did all of these according to the commands of David and king's seers.
