Whom are we listen to?

2 Chronicles 24:17-27
After the death of Jehoiada, the officials of Judah came and paid homage尊敬 to the king, and he listened to them. They abandoned the temple of the Lord and worshiped Asherah poles and idols.
Althought the Lord sent prophets to the people to bring them back to him, and though they testified against them, they would not listen.
They killed Zechariah, the son of Jehoiada. King Joash did not remember the kindness Zechariah's father had shown him but killed his son, who said as he lay dying, "May the Lord see this and all you to account."
After the priest's death, however, the king comes under less healthy influences, till he sinks to the murder of Jehoiada's son for his outspoken criticism. In consequence his own life ends in ignominious可恥 defeat and assassination.
Why?
God loves his people, before his wrath come upon them, God will warn them, alert them. Hope his people return from the evil.
A leader should obey the decrees of the Lord and listen to the right men, however it is easy listen to the leader of people, his official only.
Zechariah sacrificed his life, but the Lord remember what he said, gave judgement to the king Joash.
No matter what happen, at least the king should care the kindness of Jehoiada had shown him.
How?
Whom are we listen to? Keep my heart with honest and humble, always listen to the words of God.
