Serve the Lord wholeheartedly

2 Chronicles 25:1-13
Amaziah became king of Judah when he was 25 years old, he reigned in Jerusalem 29 years. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, but not wholeheartedly.
Amaziah hired a hundred thousand fighting men from Israel for a hundreds talents of silver. But a man of God came to him and said, "O king, these troops from Israel must not march with you, for the Lord is not with Israel- not with any of the people of Ephraim... for God has the power to help or overthrow."
Amaziah asked, "But what about the hundreds talents I paid for these Israelite troops?" The man of God replied, " The Lord can give you much more than that."
Israel... Ephraim: The Chronicler makes it clear that he means the northern kingdom.
Why?
Amaziah's cruel victory over Edom leads to his downfall. He brings home the foreign gods.
A man did what is right in the eyes of the Lord, but not wholeheartedly, he is not real Christians. One who has one sin he is a sinner, even he did many right things.
The Lord likes his servant who serve the Lord wholeheartedly. It is the loyalty to the Lord.
How?
Keep us away from any evil thing, serve the Lord wholeheartedly.
