Proverbs 6:1-19
If you have put up security for your neighbor or if you have struck hand in pledge for another. Go and humble yourself press your plea with your neighbor! Free yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare from the fowler.
Learn from the ant, do not lazy or more a little sleep, and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man.
Six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him:
1) haughty eyes, 2) a lying tongue, 3) hands that shed innocent blood, 4)a heart that devises wicked schemes, 5) feet that are quick to rush into evil, 6) a false witness who pours out lies, 7) a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.
Beware of accepting unlimited liability for anyone.
Beware of idleness anyone.
Beware of the fate of a 'bad lot'
Why?
Beware of our mouth and our unlimited liability for anyone, it will be my snare for others. Treat others with love but don't trust too much to others.
Careful what I say, beware of what I promise.
Lazy man won't get rich, diligent man wont' get poverty, but need to beware of the promise and trust to others.
How?
No everyone is reliable, no everyone can help us, only the Lord I can rely on. His promise endure for ever. Even they have not harm to me, but they have their limitation to help me.
