Proverbs 4:1-27
Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
Esteem her, and she will exalt you; embrace her , and she will honor you.
The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.
Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
Teaching: 1)Get it, don't forsake it. 2)The path of life 3)Speak the good word 4)
Guard my heart on the right way.
Why?
The teacher passe on his own father's instruction. Wisdom is the thing to go for: it leads to life. Steer clear of wrongdoing and of bad company.
Esteem the Lord, God will honor me.
Righteous way at the beginning may be dim and lonely. It will more bright and straight.
Get wisdom, although it cost all I have, it is worthy to me. It is my life and my honor, security and prosperity.
How?
How to be a man with wisdom, careful listen to the words of the Lord and work it out with all my strength and all my heart and all my mind. Don't forget it.
