Habakkuk 1:1-17
Habakkuk complained to the Lord the justice never prevails.
The Lord answer to Habakkuk, he is arising up the Babylonians to sweep all nations, deride kings and scoff at rulers.
Habakkuk second time complain to the Lord.
My God, my Holy One, Why then do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves?
The prophet Habakkuk is battling with much the same problem as Job and the writers of Psalm 73: the face that while the good, the innocent, suffer, the wicked flourish. So Habakkuk, believing that God is just and good, asks his questions. Why, God, why?
The book belongs to the latter part of the 7th century BC, when Jeremiah was prophesying in Jerusalem.
Habakkuk replies,'How can you, the all-good, the just God, use such a vicious instrument of judgment- you who cannot ear the sight of evil? Will you let Babylon fish the sea of humanity for ever?
Why?
Complain to the Lord in stead of the men. Because Habakkuk believed in the Lord, He is Holy and just.
Pray to the Lord is better than complain to other people. For the Lord listen to our prayer. Habakkuk seek the answer from the Lord.
Even wicked men could be instrument of the Lord to punish the evil men or countries.
How?
Complain to the Lord for we believe the Lord is Holy, righteousness and full of love.
I should stop complaining to this generation or to this environment any more!
