Judges 17:1-13
In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as he saw fit.
A young Levite from Bethlehem in Judah, who had been living within the clan of Judah left that town in search of some other place to stay.
This closing section differs from the rest of Judges. The writer turns from Israel's heroes to two incidents which illustrate the low state of religion and morality in the lawless days when Israel had no central government and everyone 'did as they saw fit.'
Why?
To use an 'ephod' and 'teraphim' for divination, was equally strictly prohibited. Nor has Micah any right to appoint the young Levites as priest.
Levites were went out to search some other place to stay means no thing supported from Israel to the Temple and Levites. People forgot the Lord their God.
How?
Focus on the Lord, He is my God, my fortress and my hope! Support the servant of the Lord!
