Before you were born I set you apart; Jeremiah

Jeremiah 1:1-19
The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
Do nto say, 'I am too young."You must go to everyone I send you and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with your and will rescue you", declares the Lord.
Jeremiah see the branch of an almond tree: my word is fulfilled.
A pot that is boiling, it is titling toward us from the north: From the north disaster will be poured out on all who live in the land.
All nations and people of the land will fight against Jeremiah but will not overcome him, for God is with him and will rescue him.
The date is 627BC. Jeremiah is a young man, probably is his early twenties, and as reluctant to become God's spoken man as Moses before him.
But about one thing he has no doubt. His message was a word from God himself. "The word of the Lord came to me' runs as a refrain right through the book, from first to last. In this lies his certainty, and his compulsion.
Straightway Jeremiah is given vision. God shows and explains to the prophet what he is going to do; what Jeremiah must tell the people. They will not want to hear. They will be against Jeremiah from the outset. But God will protect him. The pattern of Jeremiah's whole life is set out in this initial encounter with God.
Almond : The two words sound alike in the Hebrew: 'shaqed/shoqed'
Why?
Jeremiah was appointed as priest of the Lord.
God's word alway people don't like it, but it is good to us and warning us not go astray.
How?
Do not be arfaid when I say God's word with love and stand firm on the truth.
