Nation corruption

Jeremiah 5:1-19
If you cab find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I will forgive this city.
They made their faces harder than stone and refused to repent.
Why should I forgive you? Your children have forsaken me and sworn by gods that are not gods. I supplied all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of prostitutes.
The prophets are but wind and the word is not in them; so let what they say be down to them.
Because the people has spoken these words, I will make my words in your mouth a fire and these people the wood it consumes.
God searches in vain for a vestige of truth and justice among his people. The nation is steeped in idolatry: happy with a rotten society: untroubled by conscience. God and his prophets alike are disregarded. It is false prophecy the people want to hear. God has no option but to punish.
Why?
There was not one in Israel and Judah seek the truth and honestly in his heart so the Lord has not option to punish these nations.
Poor and prophets and officials are lie and refused to repent, their face are harder than stone, they do not know what is shame. So they will be consumed like wood.
God's word become fire in their mouth for they deceived others.
When a nation and his people away from the Lord and his word will be ruined.
How?
Repent to the Lord, God is the sovereign Lord, fear the Lord is the wisdom.
