No one is blameless before God

Job 4:1-21
Your words have supported those who stumbledyou have strengthened faltering knees. But now trouble comes to you, and you are discouraged; it strikes you, and you are dismayed.
Can a mortal be more righteous than God? Can even a strong man be more pure than his Maker?
Are not the cords of their tent pulled up, so that they die without wisdom?
The three friends now begin the to-and-fro argument which makes up most of the book. Eliphaz has the first turn. Job has often helped others in trouble, he says, now he should be prepared to swallow his own medicine. God destroys the guilty, not the innocent. No one is blameless before him.
Why?
People's word and righteousness are not more than God. All of us are under the Lord.
Our survival is the grace of the Lord.

How?
Give thanks to the Lord, for God's way and God's mind are higher than me.
