Jesus teaches the meaning of Adultery, Divorce, Oaths

 Matthew 5:27-37

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce. But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

“Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.’ But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.

All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

Jesus introduces six examples with the words: 'You have heard... but I say to you...' He shows how the principles expressed in the law are meant to be applied. In every case - murder; divorce, Deuteronomy, oaths, retaliation; Exodus, loving others.

Why?

Jesus explained the real meaning of the Laws. It is not only forbidden words. But more aggressive to do the right thing from our heart.

Adultery from our heart or eyes so keeps away from the sin of our mind. Everything is started in our minds.

Be honest to everyone,  just say yes or no, don't say other words. God knows what our hearts thought and said.

1.姦淫：耶穌由內心來評斷是否守律法。由外表判斷，很容易投機取巧，鑽律法的漏洞。其實已經犯罪了。人的內心改變，行為才能改變，行出律法。要不計一切代價，盡力的來達成，逃避私慾。

2.婚約：不可因為男方，一點自己的喜好改變，觀點改變就休妻，不是想要就要，想休就丟，以後不能再後悔。被休妻的不可娶，是為了防止有娶外遇女子合法化的疑慮，隨便將婚姻的誓言丟棄。使太太做淫婦是丈夫造成的。所以要好好守婚約的誓言。

3.誓言：不是做了什麼事而有罪，或是不做什麼而有罪，這是律法主義。起誓多因為人不相信，重點在是就說是，不是就說不是。沒有說不可對神起誓。耶穌反對的是繞過神來起誓，以躲過神的追討。不要想投機取巧，以為律法不能管到我。人只要言而有信，人豈不相信。
