Whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven

 Matthew 5:13-26

You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world.

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Anyone who murders will be subject to judgment. But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment.

Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court.

It may seem to some, from Jesus' attitude to the sabbath and other laws, that he wanted to remove the law completely. Far from it. Rather, he will fulfill the law God gave through Moses. IT is all too easy to take the law in a superficial, legalistic way, to be content with keeping the letter. It is the spirit, the principle behind the law, that reveals God's will.

Why?

Respect the law in the world and follow the law of the Lord.

Be the salt of the earth and light of the world for we are the sons of the Lord.

Commands are not for teaching but for practices and teaching.

主動去和好，不是被動的。

溫柔的表現，即使我吃虧我也不爭！耶穌為我們償還，我們沒有欠耶穌，因為耶穌已經先幫我們償還了。
