Blessed king who shows mercy to his people and inquire the way from the Lord

2 Samuel 2:1-11
David inquired of the Lord, "Shall I go up to one of the towns of Judah" and "Where shall I go?" The Lord answered to him.
The men of Jabesh Glead who had buried Saul, so David sent message to bless them and show them kindness and favor.
David was anointed as king of Judah at Hebron.
Abner son of Ner, the commander of Saul's army, brought Ish-Borheth son of Saul to Mahanaim. He made him king over Gilead, and all Israel.
Only Judah acclaims David as king. The other the tribes follow the lead of Abner, Saul's army commander, and give allegiance to Ishbosheth, Saul's son. For two years the nation is divided.
Why?
David inquired of the Lord for his way to go. Obeyed the command of the mighty  God.
David to be a king of Judah only, Israel was more bigger and he showed his respective to Saul's family, he sent message to the men of Jabesh Glead. David showed the kindness to all Israel men.
How?
A good king follow the command of the Lord and show love to his people, no matter they knows him or not.
Blessed king (leader) who has mercy to his people and inquires the way from the Lord.
