2 Samuel 8:1-18
The Lord gave David victory wherever he went.
King David dedicated these articles to the Lord, as he had done with the silver and gold from all the nations he ha subdued; Edom and Moab, the Ammonites and the Philistines, and Amalek, Bobah.
David reigned over all Israel, doing what was just and right for all his people.
Why?
Previously David was on good terms with the Moabites, so this is hard to understand. Much later, a view was put forward that they had killed his parents.
David knew his victory were blessed by the Lord so he dedicated those articles to the Lord.
For David fear the Lord and doing what was just and right, so the Lord gave him victory wherever he went.
Doing what is just and right to his people is foundation of a nation.
How?
Victory is blessed from the Lord, so all achievement are belong to the Lord!
